Abstract: A clamshell container comprising a tray and a cover formed from a blank; the tray including a bottom and four curved side walls foldable upward from the four edges of the bottom along arcuate fold lines, the tray walls having defined corners inwardly offset relative to the center points of the walls; and a cover provided with corresponding walls, at least three of which are folded from arcuate fold lines along corresponding edges of a cover top panel and which define depending arcuate cover walls and a cover with a maximum width at transverse centerlines between opposed sets of walls and minimum widths at corners defined by the cover walls; the cover pivotally closing over the tray with the arced walls of the tray received within the arced walls of the cover and engaging therewith.

Abstract: A closable type container for packaging items is constructed of a one piece flat sheet of carton material which is cut and scored to facilitate erection into a box like structure. The closable or clam shell type structure includes an ergonomic toggle action tab having a circular or generally oval shape and a fold line which divides the tab into two tab sections. This ergonomic toggle action tab is movable from a normal position by inward digital pressure on the fold line. Further, radius score lines each have an arc shape which causes a depressed tab section to have a slightly concave surface. An offset fold line between the two tab sections is also disclosed.

Abstract: A carton structure with opposed side walls and opposed end walls interconnected by fold lines. Foldable closure panels are integrally joined to the upper edges of the side walls, and in turn have foldable handle panels integral with the outer edges thereof. A reinforcement panel is integral with one end of each handle panel and folds thereover to lie between the handle panels. End panels extend from the upper edges of the end walls with the reinforcement panels being positioned immediately outward of the end panels. The end panels fold to interlock with the folded handle and reinforcement panels.
