  • Patent number: 11727238
Abstract: An augmented reality system for procedural guidance identifies a fiducial marker object in a frame of a first field of view generated by a camera, determines a pose of the fiducial marker object, applies the fiducial marker pose to generate a first transformation between a first coordinate system of the fiducial marker object and a second coordinate system of the camera, and applies a pose of a headset to determine a second transformation between the first coordinate system and a third coordinate system of the headset.

  • Patent number: 11386303
Abstract: A method of operating a procedural language and content generation system that involves correlating environment objects and object movement to input controls through operation of a correlator, operating an interpreter to evaluate the correlation of the input controls and object/object movement against known libraries to generate programmatic instructions, storing the programmatic instructions as an instruction set, transforming the instruction set into executable commands through a compiler, and configuring control logic to perform the executable commands in response to receiving detected environment objects and detected object movement from an image processor.

  • Publication number: 20190318065
Abstract: A method for monitoring and delivering licensed content involves displaying an interactive guided process with one or more augmented reality/mixed reality (AR/MR)) layers through an AR/MR device, detecting user/operator interactions during the interactive guided process in the AR/MR layer as a content request and storing the user/operator interactions in a user/operator interaction log, validating the content request and releasing requested content to the AR/MR device, displaying the requested content through the AR/MR layer, recording user/operator content interactions with the requested content in a content interaction log, normalizing the user/operator content interactions to the previous user/operator content interactions and generating a user/operator engagement metrics, and communicating the user/operator engagement metrics and previous user/operator interactions to a content management engine.

  • Patent number: 9886769
Abstract: Disclosed herein according to one embodiment is an object tracker for tracking an object. The object tracker includes a depth camera for acquiring a 3D depth map and a low-resolution 2D image of the object, and an image camera for acquiring a high-resolution 2D image of the object. A processor is in communication with the depth camera and the image camera. The processor is configured to: identify a region of interest within the 3D depth map; identify an approximate object silhouette within the low-resolution 2D image using information about the region of interest from the 3D depth map; identify the approximate object silhouette in the high-resolution 2D image using information about the approximate object silhouette from the low-resolution 2D image; generate a refined object silhouette within the high-resolution 2D image using a region segmentation process; and track the object using the refined object silhouette.
