  • Patent number: 11911128
Abstract: A mote includes an optical receiver that wirelessly receives a power and data signal in form of NIR light energy within a patient and converts the NIR light energy to an electrical signal having a supply voltage. A control module supplies the supply voltage to power devices of the mote. A clock generation circuit locks onto a target clock frequency based on the power and data signal and generates clock signals. A data recovery circuit sets parameters of one of the devices based on the power and data signal and a first clock signal. An amplifier amplifies a neuron signal detected via an electrode inserted in tissue of the patient. A chip identifier module, based on a second clock signal, generates a recorded data signal based on a mote chip identifier and the neuron signal. A driver transmits the recorded data signal via a LED or a RF transmitter.

  • Patent number: 11454030
Abstract: A bucket holder for use on pitched roofs and for holding a bucket in an upright, vertical disposition includes a planar base which is adapted to rest on the surface of the roof, a generally cylindrically-shaped main canister for holding the bucket, the main canister being mounted on the base, and a top ring mounted on the main canister. The main canister has a multi-faceted, bucket supporting inner wall formed of a plurality of segments having different relative heights and angles. When a bucket is placed in the main canister of the bucket holder in a desired position, the bottom of the bucket rests on one or more of the segments such that the bucket is held in an upright, vertical disposition when the bucket holder is used on a pitched roof.

  • Publication number: 20170133431
Abstract: With an increasing demand for miniature low power sensors, there is a need to integrate optoelectronic devices with CMOS technology. Deposition of GaAs nanowires on polycrystalline conductive films allows for direct integration of optoelectronic devices on dissimilar materials. Nanowire growth is demonstrated on oxide and metallic films. Introducing dopant elements modifies the surface energy improving nanowire morphology and lowing for core-shell growth. Electrical measurements confirm that the metal-semiconductor junction is Ohmic and thus the feasibility of integrating nanowire-based devices directly on CMOS devices.

  • Publication number: 20110031489
Abstract: A complementary thin-film electronic device structure is provided where one of the transistors has a p-type channel region fabricated from zinc telluride material. The device structure further includes another field effect transistor having an n-type channel region disposed adjacent to and operably coupled to the p-type transistor.

  • Patent number: 7730561
Abstract: A used water removal system for a stand-alone hand-wash sink station having a vertically elongated used water storage tank and within which a vertically elongated, fresh water tank is positioned. A sink basin disposed above the used water storage tank drains used water into the used water storage tank. A water line conveys water from the fresh water tank to a faucet located above the sink basin. An inverted, vertically elongated, U-shaped tube is arranged within the station alongside the fresh water tank. One end of the tube opens into the used water storage tank near its lower end. The second end of the tube opens to the outside of the station. The curved bight of the tube is located at a height that is above the maximum height of the used water within the used water storage tank. Water may be rapidly removed from the tank by temporarily applying suction to the second end of the tube to siphon used water through the tube and out of the used water storage tank.
