  • Publication number: 20200392512
Abstract: The invention provides improved nucleotide sequences and nucleic acids that encode glycine serine linkers and that use an excess of GGA, GGG, and GGT/GGU codons to encode the glycine residues. The invention further relates to nucleotide sequences and nucleic acids that encode (fusion) proteins and polypeptides comprising glycine serine linkers, which nucleotide sequences and nucleic acids comprise such improved nucleotide sequences and nucleic acids of the invention.

  • Patent number: 6604461
Abstract: The printer comprises image-forming stations at which developed toner images are formed and electrostatically transferred in register to an endless primary belt. A heat transfer minimizing nip contact is formed between the primary belt and an intermediate belt. The intermediate belt is heated downstream of the nip to heat the image thereon and to transfer the image from the intermediate belt to a substrate.

  • Patent number: 6377771
Abstract: The printer includes a moving image-carrying belt, and a plurality of toner image producing stations for sequentially depositing a plurality of toner images in register with each other on the surface of said image-carrying belt to form a composite toner image thereon. The image-carrying belt is formed of an electrically non-conductive material having a mean volume resistivity of from 108 to 1011 ohm m.

  • Publication number: 20010011690
Abstract: A device for actively steering and tensioning a web as it moves along a predetermined path is described. The web is partially wrapped around a rotatable guide roller. A first end of the guide roller is carried on a tiltable support member. The opposite end is attached to a pivotal bearing. A non-contact sensor is positioned to detect lateral misalignment of the web. A control device responsive to the sensor controls the tilting of the support member thereby to correct for lateral misalignment of the web. Pressure devices exert a predetermined pressure on each end of the guide roller independently of the position of the tiltable support member, to push the guide roller towards the web to generate the desired tension.
