  • Patent number: 10279399
Abstract: A milling tool with a disk- or strip-shaped base body, which can be driven around an axis of rotation, and several cutting inserts arranged along the outer circumference of the base body on opposite sides from one another, wherein the cutting inserts, viewed in the axial direction, overlap one another. The invention also relates to a tangential cutting insert for a milling tool of the above-mentioned type, with two side surfaces, through which a fastening opening extends, and two face ends, wherein cutting edges are formed at the junction of the front faces to the side surfaces, wherein the fastening opening is positioned eccentrically.

  • Patent number: 9707632
Abstract: A tool for the turning/turn broaching of workpieces is provided, including a carrier which can be attached directly or indirectly to a machine tool with a plurality of segments which are fastened to the carrier. Each of the segments is provided with a plurality of tool bits. In addition, each of the segments is attached to the carrier by at least two fastening elements, which act obliquely to a plane (E) lying perpendicular to the rotational axis (R) of the tool.

  • Patent number: 9597739
Abstract: An internal milling cutter for producing a recess terminating in a radius in a workpiece, in particular for milling a crankshaft, comprises a tool holder having interchangeable cutting inserts detachably attached thereto. For the production of the radius, a plurality of first interchangeable cutting inserts are provided, which are arranged one after another in the direction of cut and have cutting edges which produce complementary portions of the radius, wherein the first interchangeable cutting inserts for producing the radius are identically configured.
