  • Patent number: 9901847
Abstract: A system for separating an input fluid flow comprising gas and liquid into separate gas and liquid flows is provided. The system includes a primary separator configured to receive the input fluid flow and to separate the input fluid flow into a primary separator liquid output flow and a primary separator gas output flow, a first secondary inline separator connected downstream from the primary separator to polish the primary separator gas output flow, a second secondary inline separator connected downstream from the primary separator to polish the primary separator liquid output flow, a system gas outlet, a system liquid outlet, a primary separator gas output valve on the primary separator gas output flow, and a control system configured to receive measurements of liquid level within the primary separator, and identify, using the received measurements, whether a position of the primary separator gas output valve is to be changed.

  • Publication number: 20170002822
Abstract: A method and apparatus controls a compressor, where the compressor inlet gas may contain water and/or non-aqueous liquid. The method includes the steps of measuring temperature at the compressor inlet and/or outlet side, measuring pressure at the compressor inlet and outlet side in order to determine a compressor pressure ratio, measuring fluid mixture density at the compressor inlet and/or outlet side, measuring individual volume fractions of gas, water and non-aqueous liquid at the compressor inlet and/or outlet side, measuring fluid velocity at the compressor inlet and/or outlet side, and determining individual flow rates of gas, water and non-aqueous liquid on the basis of the measured individual volume fractions of gas, water and non aqueous liquid and the fluid velocity at the compressor inlet and/or outlet side.

  • Patent number: 6544420
Abstract: A tube apparatus for outlet of liquid from a container, adapted to receive at least two different fluids with intermediate interface(s), where liquid outlet openings are located above and/or underneath the interface(s). At least one tube member is adapted to have a substantially horizontal position in the container and is provided with at least two liquid outlet openings. A collecting tube communicates with each tube member and serves to lead liquid out of the container. Immediately under and/or over each liquid outlet opening there is provided a plate-shaped flow control element which extends approximately horizontally in all directions with respect to the liquid outlet opening concerned.
