  • Patent number: 6604310
Abstract: Label holder intended to be mounted in a hanging manner on a pin (6) which is arranged tranversely to a bar (3) projecting from a product display stand or equivalent. The holder (4) is provided with members (5) which make possible articulated mounting of the holder on the pin (6) and members for adjusting the angle the holder forms with the bar. To this end, the holder (4) is provided with an adjustment member on its rear side, which comprises a displaceable engagement element (9, 10) which is adapted so as to be capable of being displaced upward in the direction of the bar (3). The engagement element (9, 10) can then enter into engagement with the bar (3) when the holder (4) forms different angles with the latter and constitutes a support for the holder (4) which retains the latter in an angular position occupied relative to the bar (3).

  • Patent number: 6254731
Abstract: A steam box including a steam chamber for blowing steam toward a paper or board web that runs on support of a wire and a suction zone arranged at the trailing side of the steam chamber of the steam box for providing suction of steam mist discharged by the steam chamber. The suction zone extends to sides of the steam chamber so as to extend to the lateral areas of the web. The steam box includes edge cutter devices arranged in the area of effect of the suction zone extending to the lateral areas of the web, so as to remove the fibers and fillers produced during the edge cutting and prevent soiling of the edges of the steam box.

  • Patent number: 6148831
Abstract: A method for cleaning a web by removing dust and other particles therefrom in which a blowing is directed at a web to cause the separation of dust from the web and a suction effect is applied to the web to remove the dust separated from the web. A vortex flow may be produced before the dust separating blowing in the running direction of the web to prevent carriage of the dust into the environment and to compensate for the suction effect on the runnability of the web.

  • Patent number: 6035569
Abstract: A label holder and mounting clip for the mounting and display of electronic labels. A label holder of extruded plastic material snugly receives the enclosure of the electronic label which can be protected by a clear cover extending over the front of the label holder at least slightly spaced from the front of the label. A mounting strip is coextruded with the body of the label holder and is flexibly attached thereto by a co-extruded living hinge. Mounting brackets, of spring metal or the like, are received in pricing channels along the front of display shelving, or are otherwise mounted at the front of the shelving, and include a forwardly displaced, upwardly extending mounting tongue received in a downwardly opening slot in the flexibly attached mounting strip.

  • Patent number: 5969160
Abstract: Process for producing phthalic anhydride by catalytic gaseous phase oxidation of o-xylene or naphthalene in the presence of catalyst, whereby the reaction is carried out in at least two separate reactors. The first reactor is a salt-cooled main reactor and the second reactor is a post-reactor without cooling means containing same or different catalyst as the first reactor, wherein the feed flow to the post reactor consists of only gaseous effluent from the first reactor and the gas flow in the second reactor takes place from up to down without saltbath cooling.

  • Patent number: 5800679
Abstract: A device in a paper machine or in a finishing device of a paper machine for removing dust in which a blowing is directed at a web to cause the separation of dust from the web and a suction effect is applied to the web to remove the dust separated from the web. A vortex flow is produced before the dust separating blowing in the running direction of the web to prevent carriage of the dust into the environment and to compensate for the suction effect on the runnability of the web. In the device, blow elements produce a blowing that separates dust from the web and suction elements produce a suction effect so as to remove the dust that is separated out of connection with the web. The device includes an arrangement for producing a vortex flow before the dust separation blowing in the running direction of the web to prevent carriage of the dust into the environment and to compensate for the suction effect.

  • Patent number: 5674564
Abstract: A sintered hard material body is at least partly coated with at least one 0.5-20 .mu.m wear resistant ceramic oxide coating being <80% thicker in the edges than on the flat surfaces. The oxide coating exhibits a grain size (.O slashed.) in .mu.m for which:.O slashed..ltoreq.kx+awherex is coating thickness in .mu.m on at least 80% of the flat surface of the body,k=0.5, preferably 0.3, anda=2 .mu.m for 4.ltoreq.x<20 and a=0 for 0.5<x<4.The oxide coating is achieved by using a deposition process in which the body is in contact with a gas containing one or more halides of a metal or metals and a hydrolyzing and/or oxidizing agent forming the metal oxides and with an additional reactant (dopant) of sulphur, phosphorus, selenium, tellurium, arsenic, antimony and/or bismuth and/or compounds thereof. The temperature during deposition is in the range of 800.degree.-1000.degree. C., preferably 850.degree.-970.degree. C., and the volume concentration of the additional reactant is 0.25-3%, preferably 0.

  • Patent number: 5643078
Abstract: A method and system for air-conditioning of a coating station for a paper web in which hot and moist air is removed from the environment of the coating station. In the method, a dry and cool air flow is blown into a working area of a person working at the coating station, to the direct vicinity of the person, so as to air-condition the working area and to constitute breathing air for the person. Out of the working area of the person, from the direct vicinity of the person, hot and moist air is removed as a suction flow. The system for air-conditioning of a coating station for a paper web or equivalent is placed in connection with the coating station and includes an exhaust air device.
