Patent number: 7735843Abstract: A stroller is provided having a stroller frame supported by at least one wheel and a handle. The handle includes a brake operator that is coupled to a brake assembly at the wheel. The brake operator is movable between a first position whereby the brake assembly is disengaged from the wheel, and a second position whereby the brake assembly engages the wheel to retard the wheel motion.Type: GrantFiled: April 3, 2007Date of Patent: June 15, 2010Assignee: Graco Children's Products Inc.Inventors: Michael A. Dotsey, Patrick Nolan, Michiel Sebastiaan Emanuél Petrus Knoppert, Karen Rosenkranz, Merijn Hartog, Marcel Arthur Jan Schreuder

Patent number: 7694980Abstract: A stroller handle assembly has a handle with a grip part. The handle is movable from an in-use position extending from the stroller frame to a collapsed position lying adjacent and parallel along the stroller frame. The assembly has a bracket for attaching the handle to the stroller frame. The bracket has one part configured to allow rotation of the handle sideways away from the in-use position to a partly collapsed position. The bracket has a different part configured to allow the handle to rotate to the completely collapsed position adjacent the stroller frame.Type: GrantFiled: April 3, 2007Date of Patent: April 13, 2010Assignee: Graco Children's Products Inc.Inventors: Michael A. Dotsey, Patrick Nolan, Michiel Sebastiaan Emanuél Petrus Knoppert, Karen Rosenkranz, Merijn Hartog, Marcel Arthur Jan Schreuder

Publication number: 20080029980Abstract: A stroller is provided having a stroller frame supported on at least one wheel and a handle. A child seat is supported by the stroller frame, and includes a seatback connected to a seating surface that extends forward from the seatback. The stroller includes a recline mechanism that is operable to move the seatback between a first position and a second position reclined relative to the first position. The recline mechanism includes a tension carrying member having a tension that applies a force to the seatback between the first and second positions.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 3, 2007Publication date: February 7, 2008Applicant: Graco Children's Products Inc.Inventors: Michael Dotsey, Patrick Nolan, Michiel Sebastiaan Emanuel Petrus Knoppert, Karen Rosenkranz, Merijn Hartog, Marcel Arthur Jan Schreuder

Publication number: 20040262871Abstract: A mobile device for promoting the sale of a number of products by a driver. The device may include a steering mechanism with a pair of foot sleds for the driver to stand thereon and a product compartment positioned about the steering mechanism. The products positioned within the product compartment may be within reach of the driver.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 10, 2004Publication date: December 30, 2004Applicant: THE COCA-COLA COMPANYInventors: Marcel Arthur Jan Schreuder, Willem Jorrit Schoonhoven, Michiel Sebastiaan Emamnuel Petrus Knoppert, Leonard F. Patent number: 5214236Abstract: In a method of timing a multi shot blast, a plurality of explosive charges each comprising a programmable detonator arrangement 14.1 to 14.n are positioned at a blast site. At a control center 11, the desired times of the shots in the blast are programmed into a transportable firing tool 13 and the tool is carried to each detonator arrangement where a dedicated data path is established between the tool and each detonator arrangement, one after the other. The charges are fired by loading data regarding the times on which the detonator arrangements must cause their associated charges to explode into each detonator arrangement, individually. The detonator arrangements are allowed to process the data and to cause their associated charges to explode when according to a clock in the detonator arrangement and the data stored in the arrangement it is time for the charge to explode.Type: GrantFiled: September 12, 1989Date of Patent: May 25, 1993Assignee: Plessey South Africa LimitedInventors: Raymond J. Patent number: 4646092Abstract: In a continuous wave electromagnetic positioning or distance measuring system of the Wadley type (see U.S. Pat. No. 2,907,999) a number of secondary phase measurements are obtained from a number of successively produced primary phase measurements in such a manner that any instrumental errors incorporated in the primary phase measurements are eliminated. Each secondary phase measurement represents the fractional part of the phase delay that would be experienced by a signal of accurately known measuring frequency when propagated electromagnetically along a propagation path corresponding in length to the distance to be measured. The measuring frequency is determined by the frequencies of pattern and auxiliary pattern signals used in obtaining the primary phase measurements.Type: GrantFiled: May 26, 1983Date of Patent: February 24, 1987Assignee: Plessey South Africa LimitedInventor: Jan Schreuder

Patent number: 4577150Abstract: A continuous wave electromagnetic distance measuring system comprises a master station 12.3 and a remote station 12.4. A pattern signal having an accurately known pattern frequency is propagated electromagnetically from the master station to the remote station and an auxiliary pattern signal is propogated electromagnetically from the remote station to the master station. Mixing of the pattern and auxiliary pattern signals produces a first comparison signal at the master station and a second comparison signal at the remote station, the comparison signals each having a frequency which is equal to the frequency difference between the pattern and auxiliary pattern signals. The first comparison signal is phase compared with a first reference signal to provide first phase data, and the second comparison signal is phase compared with a second reference signal to provide second phase data. The second phase data is relayed in coded form to the master station.Type: GrantFiled: May 26, 1983Date of Patent: March 18, 1986Assignee: Plessey South Africa LimitedInventor: Jan Schreuder

Patent number: 4529927Abstract: A controller apparatus comprising a phase-locked loop circuit which includes a phase comparator and a low-pass filter connected to accept a signal representing the switching frequency of the apparatus and an external frequency signal to produce a control signal for a controllable switch serving to vary the threshold levels of a reference signal, said control signal being a function of the phase difference between the input signals. The hysteresis of the apparatus is thereby changed over a few synchronization cycles in order to pull the controller into synchronization.Type: GrantFiled: October 7, 1983Date of Patent: July 16, 1985Assignee: Agence Spatiale EuropeenneInventors: Dermot O'Sullivan, Jan Schreuders
