    Abstract: A container for holding items, such as waste, is provided. The container includes a body which can be formed of plastic or metal, such as stainless steel, or other materials, and includes walls defining an inner chamber. A pivotable lid is connected to the body. A trim ring rests on a top edge of the body which is rolled outward away from the inner chamber. The trim ring is pivotable between a down position and an up position. A removable tray is disposed in the inner chamber, and a collar having a ring shape is disposed along a base of the container and between the removable tray and the body to support a periphery of the removable tray. The removable tray and the top edge of the body define a clearance space therebetween when the removable tray is raised from the base and out of the container.

    Abstract: A container includes a base and a wall disposed about and attached to the base. The wall defines a rim spaced from the base, as well as a compartment extending between the base and the wall. A lid having an inner surface and an outer surface is coupled to the wall for covering the compartment. The container has a diverter bar for separating the compartment into at least two sections in a first position. The diverter bar has a body that extends between body ends, with the body releasably engaging the wall in the first position. A retainer attaches to the lid for receiving the diverter bar and securing the diverter bar to the lid to define a storage position. A lip extends outwardly from the body whereby the lip engages the retainer in response to the diverter bar being in the storage position.

    Abstract: A container for holding and transporting goods is provided. The container includes a base and a plurality of walls connected to and extending upwardly from the base to a brim to define an opening for receiving the goods. A pair of lock-lugs extend from the brim. The container also includes a handle defining a pair of lock-keys for receiving the lock-lugs and pivotally connecting the handle to the brim for pivoting between a storage position and a raised position. The lock-keys interact with the lock-lugs to establish a locked condition of the handle when the handle is in the raised position and pulled upwardly away from the base for allowing a user to pull the container across the floor with the handle and an unlocked condition where the handle is pushed downwardly when in the raised position to allow the handle to be rotated to the storage position.

A frame (26) includes shell-shaped sidewalls (36) that face one another, and present upper concave central edges (48). The upper concave central edges (48) are connected by lower edges (50) to define opposed L-shaped openings (54) between the central edges (48). A pair of abutting L-shaped flaps (28) each define a top leg (64) and a side leg (68). The flaps (28) are complementary to the L-shaped openings (54) by extending away from each other along the upper central edges (48) of the sidewalls (36) and then downward to the lower edge (50). The top legs (64) may be pushed down into the opening (54) to provide access to the container (22) while the side legs (68) bias the flaps (28) to a closed position.
