    Abstract: Accelerated deterioration of a flexible polyvinyl chloride sheet is retarded by placing a spacer layer between the flexible sheet and a solid polyvinyl chloride support member for the flexible sheet. The spacer isolates the flexible sheet material from the solid material and also dissipates heat when the combination is exposed to sunlight.
