Abstract: A wrist mounted hand sling (1) having a wrist strap (2) that is worn around an individual's wrist and a sling strap (8) that is worn around the palm of a hand (20) between the thumb and forefinger. The sling strap is preferably loosely worn to allow objects attached to the sling strap to slide back and forth along the length of the sling strap, thereby keeping the objects from falling to the ground and in a position where the individual can easily grasp the objects if needed.
