    Abstract: A forming section has a lower wire loop (11), which constitutes a single-wire section (T) following a breast roll (12). A first dewatering zone (Z1) has at least one stationary, first forming shoe (40) followed by a pulsating strip cover (50). The first forming shoe has leading and trailing edges and underpressure affecting through holes of the cover. The holes are openings or slots substantially in the longitudinal direction of the machine, whereby non-pulsating dewatering is applied on the stock travelling on top of the lower wire. A pulp suspension jet is fed from a headbox (30) at an impact point after the shoe leading edge. The cover is straight at least in the area between the impact point of the pulp suspension jet and the trailing edge. The impact of the pulp suspension jet on the forming wire is thus better controlled in a better way, increasing production speed.

The method according to the invention further takes into consideration changes in the conditions during the previous frame by including the control history of the fast power control as initial information of the calculation made during the re-determination of the output powers, for instance as a suitable statistical quantity of the transmission history of each transmission, for instance as an average over a certain period.

The controller provides the first station with the target and the first station adjusts the transmission power of the second station on basis of the target. A predefined condition is monitored, and upon occurrence of the predefined condition, use of a target for the transmission parameter exceeding a limit value for the target for the transmission parameter is prevented.

    Abstract: The present invention proposes a method for traffic load control in a telecommunication network consisting of at least one radio terminal (MS) and at least one radio transceiver device (BS), each radio transceiver device (BS) defining a cell of said network being controlled by a network control device (RNC); comprising the steps of: setting a first reference load value for the load of a respective cell; monitoring the load of said respective cell, and in response to the load exceeding the first reference load value, manipulating the power control to decrease the transmission power levels in the cell. The present invention thus proposes a fast load control method in that during a situation in which a certain reference load value is exceeded, the load is controlled per base station sector by affecting, e.g. transmit power commands. In addition, such load reductions can be supplemented by re-negotiating bit rates, for example.

The system comprises at least two transmitting devices which transmit substantially simultaneously and substantially on the same frequency, whereby the carrier power transmitted by the first transmitting device is interference power to those receiving devices, to which the second device transmits carrier power, and vice versa. In order to arrange the packets there is generated a utility function with a value, which depends on the carrier power and the interference power and which can be obtained by calculation for the transmitted packets in their mutual transmitting order at that moment. The packets to be transmitted are arranged in a mutual transmission order corresponding to the extreme value of the utility function.
