  • Patent number: 11644358
Abstract: A balance assembly having an assembled state and an unassembled state. The balance assembly comprises a base configured to receive a portion of a like base in a nesting relation in an unassembled state of the balance assembly, a pedestal coupled to the base in an assembled state of the balance assembly, the pedestal configured to receive a portion of a like pedestal in a nesting relation in the unassembled state, a lever removably and pivotably coupled to the pedestal about a fulcrum centered along a length of the lever in the assembled state, the lever configured to receive a portion of a like lever in a nesting relation in the unassembled state, and a pair of containers removably supported at opposite ends of the lever in the assembled state, each container configured to receive a portion of a like container in a nesting relation in the unassembled state.

  • Patent number: 11423802
Abstract: An educational clock that includes a base, a minute number line chain including a plurality of minute links pivotably connected together, and an hour number line chain including a plurality of hour links pivotably connected together. The minute number line chain is adjustable between an annular shape configured to removably couple to the base and a linear shape. The hour number line chain is adjustable between an annular shape configured to removably couple to the base concentrically with the minute number line chain and a linear shape. The minute number line chain and the hour number line chain are approximately the same length when each is in its linear shape.

  • Patent number: 10288491
Abstract: A thermometer for detecting and displaying a temperature of food (or the like) is provided. The thermometer has a housing with an upper surface having a temperature display region thereon. The housing has an opposing lower surface. A probe has one end that extends from the lower surface. The probe is pivotal relative to the lower surface. The lower surface defines a rotational member housing and a corresponding rotational member disposed in the rotational member housing. The rotational member housing is configured to rotate within its housing. The probe, or an associated boss or connecting member, extends from the rotational member. Therefore, rotational movement of the rotational member causes the probe to pivot relative to the housing. The probe can pivot between a first position in which the probe is generally parallel with a length of the housing, and a second position generally perpendicular to the housing.
