Abstract: An apparatus for providing a user-friendly and reliable manner for orienting a user interface may include a processor and memory storing executable computer program code that cause the apparatus to at least perform operations including detecting at least one pointer in association with one or more portions of a display. The computer program code may further cause the apparatus to determine a location(s) of the pointer in relation to a user interface and analyze data of an image of the pointer at the location corresponding to the user interface to determine an orientation of a user in relation to the user interface. The computer program code may further cause the apparatus to orient the user interface to display the user interface in an orientation that matches or corresponds to the determined orientation of the user in relation to the user interface. Corresponding methods and computer program products are also provided.
