Abstract: The present invention relates to a bite-valve (1) for the watering of animals including a mounting part (3) and an outlet part (4). The valve-mechanism for the opening and closing of the fluid flow through the bite-valve (1) is housed in the mounting part (3), while the actuating mechanism, actuatable by an animal, for the opening of the fluid flow through the bite-valve (1) is housed in the outlet part. The actuator mechanism includes an actuating member (12) in the shape of a ball, part of which is arranged to project through a hole in the wall of the outlet part (4).
