  • Publication number: 20210073865
Abstract: In an embodiment, a request initiated from a client device and addressed to a content server device over a network is intercepted at a routing device and tagged using a unique identifier. The tagged request is transmitted over the network to the content server device, which transmits a second request over the network to a tag-related process device configured to use the unique identifier to identify information associated with the client device. The content server device receives the information associated with the client device over the network in response to the second request, and content for delivery to the client device is customized at the content server device based on that information. The customized content is then transmitted over the network to the routing device to configure the routing device to deliver the customized content to the client device in response to the request from the client device.

  • Patent number: 10663266
Abstract: A system for arresting and capturing airborne targets comprising: a projectile comprising an airframe which houses a means for entanglement, a means for propulsion, and a means for producing drag, wherein the means for entanglement is tethered to the airframe, a launcher capable of launching the projectile to within a close distance of an airborne target, wherein as the projectile approaches the airborne target the projectile is first slowed down by the means for producing drag, and second, as the projectile slows down the means for propulsion causes the means for entanglement to be projected towards the airborne target, wherein the means for entanglement arrests and captures the airborne target, thus tethering it to the projectile, and wherein the means for producing drag slows down the speed at which the projectile and tethered airborne target descend to the ground.

  • Publication number: 20190362173
Abstract: A spatio-temporal awareness engine combines a low-resolution tracking process and high resolution tracking process to employ an array of imaging sensors to track an object within the visual field. The system utilizes a low-resolution conversion through noise filtering and feature consolidation to load-balance the more computationally-intensive aspects of object tracking, allowing for a more robust system, while utilizing less computer resources. A process for target recovery and object path prediction in a robotic drone may include tracking targets using a combination of visual and acoustic multimodal sensors, operating a camera as a main tracking sensor of the multimodal sensors and feeding output of the camera to a spatiotemoral engine, complementing the main tracking sensor with non-visual, fast secondary sensors to assign rough directionality to a target tracking signal, and applying the rough directionality to prioritize visual scanning by the main tracking sensor.

  • Publication number: 20170223134
Abstract: Embodiments within describe a system and method of tagging network traffic with relevant user information for facilitating the delivery of directed media. In an embodiment, a user identifier is generated from user information. Network traffic from the user and bound for a destination site is tagged within a network routing device. The tagged traffic is tagged with a request identifier that has the user identifier encrypted in an alphanumeric string. The tagged network traffic is transmitted to the destination site. A request is received from the destination site to decode the tagged network traffic, retrieve stored user information, and transmit the stored user information to the destination site.

  • Publication number: 20090168995
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to a system and method of generating a global unique identifier (GUID) associated with web/network-related requests. In the context of processing a web-bound request associated with a browsing session, the method comprises receiving information associated with a device that initiated a web-bound request, extracting non-personal/device information during MAC/network layer processing, and creating an anonymous GUID based on the non-personal/device information. The GUID may be implemented as an alphanumeric string that is least partially encrypted and inserted in an extensible location of the HTTP data. The non-personal/device information includes one or more of data associated with a device/user, data related to the device, software on the device, or any user/input data that is resident on the device. The global persistence of the GUID is enabled as a function of extraction of non-personal/device data during MAC/network layer processing.

  • Publication number: 20080255944
Abstract: Embodiments of a system and method for managing multi-media advertising campaigns across multiple online and offline media sources are described. A durable network identifier is associated with a client device that is used to access an advertising network. The durable identifier comprises an alphanumeric tag associated with network traffic transmitted through routing devices of the network. The durable identifier indexes relevant user demographic and client device information for facilitating the delivery of directed media within the advertising network and is embedded within requests sent from the client computer to a target server computer over a network. A campaign management platform processes certain user metrics provided by the tag processing service and supplements this information with certain extrinsic data. Analysis processes determine behavioral or contextual targeting, as well as user response to ad messages.
