  • Publication number: 20220354284
Abstract: This disclosure extends to systems, apparatus, and methods related to food serving containers that may be mountable on a drinking straw in a beverage cup in a first conformation. A body portion formed as a cup for receiving food has an elongated tab extending upwards to a distal end. A straw mounting recess passes through the tab near the distal end. The elongated tab may be sized and configured to allow the body to dangle alongside a beverage container when the container is placed over a straw in the beverage container lid. The elongated tab may have predetermined folding lines, and the container body may include a connection feature, such that in a second conformation, the elongated tab may function as a closure for retaining food in the container. The closure may allow for retaining the food with a portion thereof visible.

  • Publication number: 20210323631
Abstract: The present disclosure includes J-Gate adaptor assemblies for motorcycle clutch levers and related systems and methods. In one illustrative embodiment, a bracket on a side of a motorcycle serves as fulcrum for a lever rod mounted thereon via a heim joint. A lower end of the rod is attached to a clutch control cable. The rod extends upwardly, through a guide member with a guide channel formed as elongated slot extending in a first direction to a bend portion that extends in another direction to a “rest portion.” The rod may be levered in one direction in the guide channel to engage the clutch and in the opposite direction to disengage it. The rod may be held in the “rest” portion of the channel to retain the clutch in a disengaged position. Conversion kits and methods of converting and adapting motorcycles for using these types of assemblies are also included.

  • Patent number: 10810429
Abstract: A system may include an image database having a number of images, such that each of the images is linked to a respective organization of a number of organizations. The system may also include a financial database having financial information associated with the number of organizations. The system may also include a processor that receives image data representative of an object, determine an organization associated with the object based on a comparison of the image data with at least one image of the number of images in the image database and a correlation between the at least one image with the organization, and retrieve financial data regarding the organization from the financial database. The processor may then generate visualizations regarding the financial data and overlay the visualizations on the image data.

  • Publication number: 20190085541
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system and method for retrofitting existing standard faucets to conserve water as well as decrease the likelihood of spreading viruses and bacteria via contact with the faucet itself. The system includes a foot pedal that the user can activate to control the flow of water. The foot pedal communicates with an electric valve system that opens and closes on demand. The foot pedal and electric valve system can be quickly and easily installed into a standard faucet system, thereby converting the standard faucet system into a hands free faucet system.

  • Patent number: 9742405
Abstract: A semiconductor integrated circuit includes: a first wire through which a signal is transmitted; a second wire that is not used for signal transmission; a switch that creates or breaks an electric connection between the first wire and the second wire; and a control circuit that controls the switch according to an potential of the signal, which is transmitted through the first wire, so that part of charge stored in a first wire capacitor of the first wire moves to a second wire capacitor of the second wire and is stored in the second wire capacitor and the charge stored in the second wire capacitor are drawn to the first wire capacitor to charge the first wire capacitor.

  • Publication number: 20160036992
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described that provide for directing a voice or video call using least cost dialing. Rules for directing a call may be generated by a server or a mobile device. The rules may be applied at a mobile device, facilitating a least-cost call with little or no input from the user of the mobile device. The rules may be based on identifying information about a caller or an intended call, or both. In determining what constitutes a least-cost option, a number of resources and factors, both monetary and non-monetary, may be considered. In some examples, a call identifier may be sent from a mobile device to a server, and the mobile device may receive, in response, one or more rules for directing a call. The rules may be applied at the mobile device, and the call may be placed accordingly.

  • Patent number: 9238119
Abstract: Fluid infusion systems and fluid couplings are described herein. The infusion systems may include one or more fluid couplings used to make fluidic connection between a supply line and delivery tubing. The fluid couplings separate the functions of providing a seal around a delivery tube and retaining the delivery tube within the fluid coupling. The seal provided around the delivery tube prevents leakage around an exterior surface of a delivery tube such that fluid passing through the coupling must pass through the delivery tube rather than leak around the delivery tube. The structure used to retain the delivery tube in the fluid coupling prevents ejection of the delivery tube from the coupling due to the fluid pressures present in the coupling. The separate functions are performed by different structures within the fluid couplings.

  • Patent number: 9213796
Abstract: A method for designing a semiconductor integrated circuit includes: determining, by a designing device, first wirings over which signals are propagated and second wirings which are not used for propagation of the signals among a plurality of wirings of a semiconductor integrated circuit; and determining, by the designing device, from among the second wirings, third wirings to be used for storing electrical charges for electrical charge recycling of the first wirings for a most number of the first wirings in a range that satisfies a timing constraint based on operation rates of the signals propagated over the first wirings and delay times of the first wirings.

  • Publication number: 20150239918
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention provide a functionalized carbon matrix, compositions and composites including the same, and methods of making and using the same. In various embodiments, the present invention provides a functionalized carbon matrix having the structure CM-(NZ-L-FG)n. At each occurrence, Z is independently selected from H and a bond to CM. The variable CM is a substituted or unsubstituted carbon matrix. At each occurrence, linker L is independently substituted or unsubstituted. At each occurrence, variable FG is independently selected from a functional group. The degree of substitution n is about 1 to about 1,000,000.
