Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are provided for facilitating content navigation. A method may include receiving an indication of flexing of a flexible display. The method may further include receiving an indication of a touch gesture input to a control area. The touch gesture may be input to the control area concurrent with flexing of the flexible display. The method may additionally include, responsive to flexing of the flexible display and the concurrent touch gesture, causing navigation through content. Corresponding apparatuses are also provided.

Abstract: A user interface for a wireless communication device has a visual interface that includes multiple visual elements representing events of the same type where non-textual visual characteristics represent unique information of the events. Accordingly, the visual interface includes at least a first visual element representing a first event occurring at a wireless communication device and a second visual element representing a second event occurring at the wireless communication device and being of the same event type as the first event. The first visual element has a first non-textual visual characteristic representing first information related to the first event and the second visual element has a second non-textual visual characteristic representing second information related to the second event different from the first information.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for computing routes and distances on displayable, computerized maps are disclosed. The apparatus includes a user interface (106) configured to detect a first user touch on a touchscreen (104) indicating a starting point (304) on a map displayed on the touchscreen (104). The user interface (106) also detects a second user touch on the touchscreen (104) tracing an approximate route (306) on the map between the starting point (304) and an end-point (308), and detects a third user touch on the screen indicating the end-point (308). A processor, in cooperation with the user interface, determines and displays on the touchscreen a roadway route (310) between the starting and end-points. The roadway route (310) is based on the approximate route (306) traced on the touchscreen (104). The distance of the roadway route (310) may also be displayed.
