  • Patent number: 11952696
Abstract: An apparatus includes a closed drying air circuit and a drum in communication with the closed drying air circuit. A condenser is in communication with the closed drying air circuit. The condenser includes a cooled water inlet that directs cooled water into the heated air to remove moisture from the heated air. The condenser includes a condenser water outlet for egress of water from the condenser. The cooled water inlet of the condenser is configured to receive water from a tap water source. A thermoelectric apparatus having a cold side flow device arranged between the cooled water inlet of the condenser and the tap water source is included. The cold side flow device is configured to receive tap water from the tap water source and cool the tap water below a tap outlet temperature using the thermoelectric device before the tap water enters the cooled water inlet of the condenser.

  • Publication number: 20210172111
Abstract: A clothes drying system includes an apparatus that comprises a drying air circuit. A temperature sensor provides a signal indicative of a temperature of an environment outside the apparatus. A memory and processing circuitry is coupled to the memory. The memory includes logic that, when executed by the processing circuitry, directs at least one of: (i) a vent air control valve to change an amount of heated air flowing from the drum through the vent air control valve and into the environment based on the signal from the temperature sensor, (ii) a fan to change a flow rate of air flowing through the drying air circuit based on the signal from the temperature sensor, and (iii) a heater to change an amount of heat provided to the air flowing through the drying air circuit based on the signal from the temperature sensor.

  • Publication number: 20200340168
Abstract: An automatic laundry treatment machine for treating laundry. The automatic laundry treatment machine has a reservoir having a reservoir fill level and a reservoir liquid outlet having a reservoir liquid outlet hydraulic diameter. A conveyance connects the reservoir liquid outlet to the stationary treatment chamber of the automatic laundry treatment machine. There is an in operation total head difference between the reservoir fill level and the stationary treatment chamber or an in operation total head difference across a portion of the conveyance and the total head difference divided by the cumulative reservoir liquid outlet hydraulic diameter in consistent units of length is from about 0.3 to about 2200. The automatic laundry machine can be operated to use the liquid stored in the reservoir to rapidly supply liquid to the stationary treatment chamber, thereby shortening cycle time.

  • Publication number: 20200316023
Abstract: Described herein is a method for producing indole-3-propionic acid and other indole derivatives via bacterial fermentation and compositions of the same. The method comprises adding bacteria having a nucleic acid sequence with at least 80% homology to the nucleic acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 to a liquid fermentation medium; fermenting at about 36° C. under anaerobic conditions; adding a dehydrating agent; and dehydrating to obtain a fermentate powder comprising indole-3-propionic acid and other indole derivatives.

  • Publication number: 20030215534
Abstract: Methods of fractionating unmilled psyllium seed husk to obtain a compressible, gel-forming polysaccharide with a reduced gelation rate and improved swell volume. The gel-forming fraction isolated by the present invention is useful for administration to humans to normalize bowel function, reduce human serum cholesterol levels, and regulate blood glucose levels. The gel-forming polysaccharide also exhibits reduced allergenicity as compared to psyllium seed husk.
