Patent number: 11963691Abstract: A surgical instrument, has an end effector that includes an ultrasonic blade, and a clamp arm that moves relative to the ultrasonic blade from an opened position toward an intermediate position and a closed position. The clamp arm is offset from the ultrasonic blade to define a predetermined gap in the intermediate position between the opened position and the closed position. A clamp arm actuator connects to the clamp arm and moves from an opened configuration to a closed configuration to direct the clamp arm from the opened position toward the intermediate position and the closed position. A spacer connects with the clamp arm to inhibit movement of the clamp arm from the intermediate position toward the closed position for maintaining the predetermined gap between the clamp arm and the ultrasonic blade.Type: GrantFiled: December 21, 2020Date of Patent: April 23, 2024Assignee: Cilag GmbH InternationalInventors: Ryan M. Publication number: 20220207558Abstract: Structured data sets including one or more attributes are identified, each structured data set associated with, for example, a particular user. Values corresponding the at least one of the one or more attributes in each structured data set are identified. A condition established by a content provider, for instance, an advertiser, is compared to the identified values to determine if the condition is satisfied. When the condition is satisfied, one or more content items are identified to the users associated with the structured data sets containing identified values satisfying the condition.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 17, 2022Publication date: June 30, 2022Inventors: Mayur Dhondu Datar, Jason C. Publication number: 20170213252Abstract: The subject matter of this document generally relates to reducing noise in aggregated data using frequency analysis. In some implementations, a system for reducing data noise using frequency analysis includes a data storage device that stores content and a network association processor in data communication with the data storage device. The network association processor aggregates, for a given group, content of one or more additional groups that each have overlapping members with the given group. The network association processor reduces noise in the aggregated content of the one or more additional groups using frequency analysis by determining, for each portion of content in the aggregated content, a frequency of occurrence of the portion of content within the aggregated content and filtering, from the aggregated content, each portion of content that has a frequency of occurrence that is less than a threshold.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 13, 2017Publication date: July 27, 2017Inventors: Terrence Rohan, Tomasz J. Publication number: 20110040617Abstract: Publisher yield can be managed by establishing a revenue model that represents a relationship between ad revenue for a publisher of a web site and a plurality of parameters. The parameters can include, e.g., a minimum price for an advertiser to place an ad on a web page of the web site through an ad network, a number of advertiser ads presented on the web page, and a number of house ads presented on the web page. Values of the parameters are adjusted based on the revenue model to increase the ad revenue to the publisher. This may include adjusting the minimum price for an advertiser to place an ad on the web page through the ad network, the number of advertiser ads presented on the web page, and/or the number of house ads presented on the web page.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 11, 2009Publication date: February 17, 2011Applicant: GOOGLE INC.Inventors: Rajas Moonka, Sean Harvey, Jason C.
