A plurality of fluid dispensing apparatus such as, for example, sealant guns, are fixed in a stationary position in a linear configuration on the base. A conveying assembly such as, for example, a conveyor belt, conveys container closures to the sealant guns. A manipulation mechanism such as, for example, a number of motors and at least one wheel member, manipulate (e.g., rotate or spin) each of the container closures with respect to a corresponding one of the sealant guns as it dispenses a sealant to line the container closures. Accordingly, the liner comprises a plurality of independent lining stations, wherein operation of a number of said independent lining stations can be stopped while the remaining independent lining stations continue to operate to line the container closures. An associated method of lining container closures is also disclosed.

Abstract: Techniques for sending out-of-band messages from a game networking system are described. For example, a machine identifies a friend of a user of a game networking system. The identifying of the friend may be based at least in part on a game instance of a game provided by the game networking system. The machine selects an out-of-band instant message from a plurality of messages generated by the game networking system. The one or more of the plurality of messages may be transmittable as different message types based on an activity level of the friend of the user with respect to the game networking system. The machine sends the out-of-band instant message to the friend of the user of the game networking system. The out-of-band instant message may include a request that the friend of the user perform an action with respect to the game executing on the game networking system.

Abstract: Generally, this disclosure describes a secure network topology on a virtualized server (and methods thereof). A virtualization management module is deployed as part of a software layer of a virtualized server system. The virtualization management module generates an internal network among the virtual machines and controls access to the network. The virtualization management module translates incoming and outgoing traffic between the virtual machines and an external internet IP address, thus keeping the virtual machines indirectly coupled to the external network. The virtualization management module also provides remote administration and control over each virtual machine (or collection of virtual machines).

Abstract: Interactive augmented reality devices, systems, and methods are described herein. In some embodiments, the devices, systems, and methods identify objects in an environment, and correlate at least one resource with said objects. An indicator signifying the correlation between said object(s) and said at least one resource may be produced using an interface of a device, such as a display. The indicator may be operable in response to a user action to initiate a control protocol that enables at least of modification and control of the resource with the device.

The tab includes a body having a first end and a second end disposed opposite and distal from the first end, a nose portion located at or about the first end of the tab, a lift portion located at or about the second end of the tab, and a rivet receiving portion disposed proximate the nose portion. The rivet receiving portion includes a rivet hole. A rivet extends through the rivet hole and is staked to fasten the rivet receiving portion of the tab to a can end. The body of the tab is structured to be rotated about the rivet to align a portion of the tab with a secondary scoreline in the can end. A portion of the tab is structured to be depressed to sever the secondary scoreline to vent the can end.

A wildcard identifier is used in a context-free grammar file in place of a predefined category of words. Artificial phoneme combinations that represent generic words in a speech engine's vocabulary database, and that represent pronunciations of the predefined category of words are defined by rules. A speech engine uses the artificial phoneme combinations to determine acceptable words to listen to, and generates a results object comprising generic words corresponding to the artificial phoneme combinations, as well as non-generic words that do not exist in a given CFG, where the generic and non-generic words exist in the speech engine's vocabulary database. The word having the highest confidence level that is not a generic word is selected as the word most likely to have been spoken by the user.

Abstract: A text-based relational database system is disclosed. Tags specifying data semantics may be used to store data in a text file using a relational database model. An application program interface may be provided that allows the text file data to be accessed as though it were a relational database. A text-based relational database management system may be provided that enables multiple operations on a text-file based relational database. The text file may be an Extensible Markup Language file and the operations may conform to a relational database query protocol standard, such as an Structure Query Language (SQL) standard (e.g., International Standard 9075:1992).
