The gasket is supported on the first pipe. The end caps are positioned at a first or second end of the aftertreatment components. A first bracket joins the aftertreatment components at an axial position closer to the first end than to a center of the axial extent of any of the aftertreatment components and a second bracket joins the aftertreatment components at an axial position closer to the second end than to the center of the axial extent of any of the aftertreatment components. The first mounting interface is on the first bracket, and the second mounting interface is on the second bracket.
