    Abstract: An external wearable defibrillator for monitoring a patient for cardiac-related events is provided. The defibrillator includes ECG sensors configured to be disposed about a torso of the patient, therapy electrodes, and at least one motion sensor. The ECG sensors, therapy electrodes, and at least one motion sensor are configured to be worn continuously for an extended period of time. The defibrillator includes a wearable medical device controller including at least one processor configured to receive ECG data, receive motion data, identify at least one of ventricular tachycardia or ventricular fibrillation, initiate a treatment protocol including a defibrillation shock, and, using at least one of the ECG data or the motion data, identify a predetermined pattern for syncope. The predetermined pattern includes bradycardia. The at least one processor is further configured to record the predetermined pattern in a memory and perform an intervening action to address the predetermined pattern.

The system also includes at least one processor configured to perform instructions configured to cause the at least one processor to receive a selection from an end user regarding a customized report on at least one of the first physiological data from the plurality of monitoring medical devices or the second physiological data from the plurality of therapeutic medical devices, determine at least one information field for the customized report based on an access level of the end user, and compile the customized report including the at least one information field and using the at least one of the first physiological data or the second physiological data.

    Abstract: A Virtual Reality (VR) therapeutic system for providing psychological therapy to a patient. The system includes at least a head-mounted display unit with a sound generation capability and a VR input device, and one or more computers. The system is configured to present a set of therapeutic scenarios to the patient in the virtual environment including an interaction task. A patient character interacts with a task character in the virtual environment; some of the time there is a coach character. The system determines a mental anxiety state parameter by measuring, in the virtual environment, one or more characteristics of the interaction of the patient character with the task character, monitors performance of the task, and in response to the mental anxiety state parameter and/or performance uses the coach character to provide VR feedback comprising one or both of a verbal prompt and a visual prompt in the virtual environment.
