  • Patent number: 11727705
Abstract: A device obtains image data associated with a document. Using a first machine learning model, the device determines, for the document, a first classification of one of a plurality of document types and a first confidence score associated with the first classification, and a second classification of one of the plurality of document types and a second confidence score associated with the second classification based on the image data. The device determines a difference between the first confidence score and the second confidence score, compares the difference and a threshold value, and accept the first classification of the document when the difference satisfies the threshold value.

  • Patent number: 10445218
Abstract: Methods and devices for testing graphics hardware may include reading content of a selected capture file from a plurality of capture files. The methods and devices may include transferring content from the selected capture file to an emulator memory of an emulator separate from the computer device. The methods and devices may include executing at least one pseudo central processing unit (pseudo CPU) operation to coordinate the execution of work on a graphics processing unit (GPU) of the emulator using the content from the selected capture file to test the GPU. • Patent number: 10417787
Abstract: Methods and devices for index buffer block compression in a computer system include a compressor in communication with a graphical processing unit (GPU). The methods and devices include selecting one or more primitives of at least a portion of a mesh formed by a total number of primitives for inclusion within a compressed index buffer block, the one or more primitives each associated with a number of indices each corresponding to a vertex within the mesh. The methods and devices may identify at least one redundant index in the number of indices associated with the one or more primitives of the compressed index buffer block. The methods and devices removing the at least one redundant index from the number of indices associated with the one or more primitives of the compressed index buffer block to form the compressed index buffer block as a set of one or more unique indices.

  • Patent number: 10346943
Abstract: Methods and devices for graphics shading in a computing device. The methods and devices may include receiving a respective cache line of a plurality of cache lines of a shader stored in a memory, wherein the respective cache line and one or more other ones of the plurality of cache lines include at least one jump instruction. Further, the methods and devices may include executing the respective cache line of the shader and skipping to a next portion of the plurality of cache lines based on the at least one jump instruction. Moreover, the methods and devices may include executing one or more prefetchers contemporaneously with the shader in response to the at least one jump instruction, each prefetcher requesting a subsequent one of the plurality of cache lines from the memory, wherein each prefetcher corresponds to a respective jump instruction.

  • Patent number: 8322311
Abstract: Improvements in an animal leash are disclosed. The leash is present invention relates to a leash for an animal such as a dog that leaves the owners hands free. The leash is wrapped around the wrist of a user and includes a pocket for keys, money, ID and or credit card. The leash is made from a fixed rope or belting material or can be made from a stretchable or coiled material or a combination thereof. The leash is secured on the user with a removable fastening system that allows the user to adjust the diameter of the strap around their wrist to allow the user to jog or walk without holding the leash. The securing system can also be adjustable to different degrees of break-away force to prevent damage to a user or animal if the user or the tethered animal becomes stopped or restrained.

  • Publication number: 20120149093
Abstract: A device which collects specimen fluids or performs chemical or biological assays of the specimen fluid is provided with a specimen fluid receiver and a fluid actuated expandable trigger coupled to receive specimen fluid from the specimen fluid receiver such that a predetermined delay occurs before the trigger expands sufficiently to move another component of the device, and the specimen fluid interacts with a substance during the delay. The trigger is made of a material which expands substantially upon absorbing specimen fluid, and it is mounted and positioned so as to contact and move the other component of the device upon expanding through the absorption of specimen fluid. The other component may contain a surface coupled to receive specimen fluid from the specimen fluid receiver and the surface has an area which contains a substance which interacts with the specimen fluid.

The trigger is made of a material which expands substantially upon absorbing specimen fluid, and it is mounted and positioned so as to contact and move another component of the device upon expanding through the absorption of specimen fluid. Preferably, the trigger is mounted to the other component and is positioned to press against a stationary surface upon expanding, so that the trigger causes the other component to move. Also, the other component may contain a surface coupled to receive specimen fluid from the specimen fluid receiver and the surface has an area which contains a substance which interacts with the specimen fluid.
