  • Publication number: 20240080678
Abstract: A wireless industrial process filed device includes a process interface element configured to interface with a process fluid and control or sense a process variable of the process fluid. A controller is configured to control operation of the process interface element. An RF circuit board includes a plurality of RF transceivers carried on the RF circuit board, each configured to send and/or receive an RF signal which carries information related to the process variable. A plurality of antennas are carried on the RF circuit board and form an antenna array. Each of the plurality of antennas is coupled to at least one of the plurality of RF transceivers. Each of the plurality of antennas having a different antenna pattern. The controller controls operation of the plurality of RF transceivers to communicate with a remote device through an antenna array patterned formed by transmission of RF signals through the plurality of antenna patterns of the plurality of antennas.

  • Patent number: 11761301
Abstract: A technique facilitates improved sealing with respect to safety valve pistons so as to improve reliable safety valve operation. According to an embodiment, a safety valve piston seal assembly is positioned about a safety valve piston and comprises components which divert a load path to the safety valve piston rather than to susceptible components of the seal assembly. For example, the seal assembly may comprise a load ring and spacers to energize a V-ring when pressure is applied to a metal spring energized (MSE) seal. However, the components are arranged so the load path is diverted to the safety valve piston when pressure occurs behind the V-ring instead of allowing the loading to act against the MSE seal.

  • Publication number: 20230220745
Abstract: A safety valve includes a housing having a bore, a flow tube, and a valve closure member. The flow tube resides in the bore, is configured to move telescopically within the bore, and is adapted to shift the valve closure member between a closed position and an open position. The safety valve also includes an annular section between an inner surface of the housing and an outer surface of the flow tube, and means for preventing fluid flowing through the bore from entering the annular section.

  • Publication number: 20230001222
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a combined Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy and Photobiomodulation (PBM) therapeutic device in the form of a flexible wearable that can be secured to a user's body part to apply targeted radiation to a desired area. The frequencies and pulse patterns of both types of radiation are controlled by a single controller of the device which can switch between a number of pre-set sequences and patterns. The device is wirelessly enabled to allow control via an external user device.

  • Patent number: 11174702
Abstract: A downhole tool includes an upper flow tube connected to a lower flow tube, an upper flapper sub-assembly including an upper flapper, and a lower flapper sub-assembly including a lower flapper. The upper and lower flapper sub-assemblies are installed with respect to the upper and lower flow tubes in an “O” configuration such that the upper and lower flapper sub-assemblies are in a closed position. The upper and lower flapper sub-assemblies are capable of being independently actuated. • Patent number: 10855394
Abstract: A jamming radio signal is outputted to interfere with an interrogation signal emitted by a vehicle for verifying a tag of a vehicle key that provides access to the vehicle. An access signal including access data is received. The output of the jamming radio signal is halted, at least temporarily, when the access data matches an access code so that the tag of the vehicle key can be authenticated.

  • Patent number: 10750674
Abstract: A propagation tray for growing a plurality of plug plants in bounded transplantable growing media has two spaced apart aperture plates. The plug plants are held loosely in the apertures in a top plate while retained at the apertures in the bottom plate over air cells associated with and under the apertures in the bottom plate. The air cells provide a volume into which roots from the plug plant may grow, and the air cells have at least one port for drainage and/or ventilation and toward which roots are guided to be air pruned. The propagation tray maximizes air flow around the plug for air pruning of roots, while minimizing contact of the plug with the structures on the tray to reduce the formation of root defects.
