Patent number: 9225753Abstract: Systems, devices, and techniques for establishing communication between a user device in a passcode-locked stated and a computing device associated with an emergency contact are described. In one example, a method includes receiving, by a first computing device, a request to communicate with an emergency contact while the first computing device is in a passcode-locked state. The request may be received via a passcode lock screen displayed at the first computing device, the passcode-locked state may restrict access to the first computing device, and the emergency contact may be one of at least one emergency contact preselected by a user. The example method also includes, responsive to receiving the request, initiating, by the first computing device, a communication service on the first computing device during the passcode-locked state, and transmitting, via the communication service, data from the first computing device to a second computing device associated with the emergency contact.Type: GrantFiled: November 6, 2012Date of Patent: December 29, 2015Assignee: Google Inc.Inventor: Jason Maxwell

Patent number: 7264135Abstract: A stackable container lid comprising a lid member (80) having a center portion (83a), an edge portion (83b) top and bottom surfaces (82, 84) and closure means (88) adapted to cooperate with the closure device of a container bottom, the lid top surface (82) including a raised boss (100), the raised boss (100) being disposed in the lid member center portion (83a) and projecting outwardly from the lid member top surface (82), the lid bottom surface (84) including a boss seat (108) adapted to receive the raised boss (100) of another said lid. The raised boss (100) and the boss seat (108) of another said lid are engagable by exerting a force on the lid top surface (82) of said another lid proximate the raised boss (100) of said another lid.Type: GrantFiled: March 4, 2004Date of Patent: September 4, 2007Assignee: The Glad Products CompanyInventors: Alan F. Publication number: 20050199639Abstract: The present invention consists of an inexpensive tight sealing plastic container suited for microwave cooking, top-shelf dishwashing and freezer use. In accordance with a preferred embodiment, the container is provided with two compartments, one large and one small. The container utilizes a dual cut-back closure device of which the retaining bead of the container bottom maintains the container top in a secure position. The inside dimensions of the container top are slightly larger than the container bottom in both compartments. The difference in sizes provides an interference fit and forms a substantially leak proof seal along the inside perimeter of both compartments of the container. The container top provides at least one gripping tab, which facilitates the separation of the container top from the container bottom and permit container venting.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 29, 2005Publication date: September 15, 2005Applicant: The Glad Products CompanyInventors: Edward Tucker, Jason Maxwell, Jack Melvan, George Lueken, Luke Gross, Mark Cruz
