    Abstract: In various embodiments, a treadmill system may include one or more custom treadmill hardware devices and one or more accompanying pieces of software which may be configured to work in tandem to simulate one or more virtual terrains within a game on a physical treadmill. In particular embodiments, the system is configured to enable a user to control a direction of a virtual avatar as the avatar traverses the virtual terrain (e.g., while the user is using the treadmill). The system may then be configured to manipulate the treadmill (i.e., incline of the treadmill, speed of the treadmill, etc.) based on the terrain that the avatar is currently traversing. The system may utilize one or more imaging devices to identify particular gestures performed by the user. In this way, the system may be configured provide hands free control to the user while the user is using the treadmill.

Exemplary implementations may: assess vulnerability by determining an exposure window for a computing element based on the number of discrete times within a given time frame where the computing element is in a vulnerable state; determine a frequency of contact of the computing element with threat actors; normalize the exposure window and the frequency of contact; calculate a threat event frequency by dividing the normalized exposure window by the normalized frequency of contact; and repeat the steps for multiple elements. When combined with liability data that describes the loss magnitude implications of these events, organizations can prioritize the elements based on loss exposure and take action to prevent loss exposure.

Automated systems attempt to predict a grouping for various users, but the predicted grouping may not exhibit a confidence level above a certain threshold level. In such cases, a user interface is generated and presented to an associate to confirm the grouping of users. The user interface includes an image gallery and interface elements that allow for the selection of users into a group. The image gallery includes previously stored images of users, such as images obtained during a registration process or during a previous visit to the facility. In addition, the user interface also includes image data obtained from a camera at the facility depicting visitors at various times or locations. Once a grouping has been selected or confirmed by an associate, group data may be generated and stored for the group of users.

In response to an order received by the distributor from a customer for a portion of the hardware devices, the distributor server provides the database the unique identifiers and an associated customer order identifier, and the distributor server provides a customer server the unique identifiers. In response to the customer logging into the database and providing the order information, the database provides the customer the unencrypted keys for the hardware devices to allow authentication.

A storage machine comprises instructions executable by a logic machine to present one or more virtual objects on the display device, to receive information from the depth camera about an environment, and to determine a position of the head-mounted display within the environment. Based on the position of the head-mounted display, a position of a joint of a user's arm is inferred. Based on the information received from the depth camera, a position of a user's hand is determined. A ray is cast from a portion of the user's hand based on the position of the joint of the user's arm and the position of the user's hand. Responsive to the ray intersecting with one or more control points of a virtual object, the user is provided with an indication that the virtual object is being targeted.
