  • Publication number: 20240177621
Abstract: A vehicle control system and method may receive state information from a vehicle group having one or more vehicles. The state information may indicate an operational parameter of one of the vehicles. The controller may direct a display device to present one or more statuses of the one or more vehicles based at least in part on the state information that is received by the controller. This state information may be used to notify an operator of a potential component fault before continued operation of the vehicle group further damages the component or a vehicle. In another example, the state information may be used to control or change operation of one vehicle based on the state or status of another vehicle, such as by changing movement of one or more drones in a swarm responsive to a lower state of charge of another drone in the same swarm.

  • Publication number: 20240157812
Abstract: A system is provided that may include one or more processors that may receive one or more signals relating to operation of an energy system of a vehicle. The processors may calculate an operational status of the energy storage system based at least in part on comparing the one or more signals with one or more designated criteria related to the energy storage system. The processors may automatically control a shutdown and a startup of an engine of the vehicle responsive to the operational status of the energy storage system being below a threshold.

  • Publication number: 20230316815
Abstract: A system may include a processor to receive vehicle data from a vehicle system at a first location and communicate the data to a second location. The processor may integrate the data into a database of diagnostic data at the second location and identify a diagnostic code that indicates an expected operation of the vehicle system or an unexpected operation. The processor may determine a maintenance operation based on the diagnostic code. A method may include receiving vehicle data from a vehicle system at a first location and communicating the vehicle data to a second location. The method may include integrating the vehicle data into a database of first diagnostic data and identifying a diagnostic code that indicates whether the vehicle data represents an expected operation of the vehicle system or an unexpected operation of the vehicle system. The method may include determining a maintenance operation based on the code.

  • Publication number: 20230193809
Abstract: A cooling system includes a coolant tank, a coolant sensor assembly, and a controller. The coolant sensor assembly includes a sensor package having a first end and a second end, the sensor package including a partially transparent or semi-transparent sight glass housing a coolant level sensor and configured to receive a flow of coolant therethrough. The coolant sensor assembly also includes a first valve coupled between the first end of the sensor package and a coolant tank, a second valve coupled between the second end of the sensor package and the coolant tank, and a third valve coupled in flow communication with the second end of the sensor package. The controller is configured to execute one more diagnostic self-tests for the coolant sensor assembly and the cooling system.

  • Publication number: 20230174126
Abstract: A system is provided having a prescription controller for a vehicle system having a database. The controller may store an initial diagnostic analysis for the vehicle system at the database, the initial diagnostic analysis including a reference diagnostic section having at least one placeholder, and modify the initial diagnostic analysis based on, for example, one of vehicle system type, vehicle system configuration, historical data related to the vehicle system, or an operating system related to an operating condition to form a modified diagnostic analysis.

  • Publication number: 20230004907
Abstract: Systems and methods for tailoring a single prescription for different users for completing tasks on equipment are provided. A prescription representative of a flowchart or decision tree for performing a main set of the tasks is obtained. Characteristics of the equipment and/or a user of the prescription are obtained. Content of the prescription that is displayed to the user during performance of at least some of the tasks on the equipment is tailored based on the characteristics. The content of the prescription is tailored by hiding one or more of the tasks that are not applicable to the equipment from display to the user. This can occur without any data or information being removed from or added to the prescription. Instead, the prescription can be tailored by changing what information is automatically and/or initially displayed to the user.
