    Abstract: Technologies for a transistor with a thin-film ferroelectric gate dielectric are disclosed. In the illustrative embodiment, a transistor has a thin layer of scandium aluminum nitride (ScxAl1-xN) ferroelectric gate dielectric. The channel of the transistor may be, e.g., gallium nitride or molybdenum disulfide. In one embodiment, the ferroelectric polarization changes when voltage is applied and removed from a gate electrode, facilitating switching of the transistor at a lower applied voltage. In another embodiment, the ferroelectric polarization of a gate dielectric of a transistor changes when the voltage is past a positive threshold value or a negative threshold value. Such a transistor can be used as a one-transistor memory cell.

The method further includes identifying each verification result in the first and second sets that includes a performance metric. The method also includes determining a first score of the primary model based on a number of the verification results identified in the first set that includes the performance metric and determining a second score of the alternative model based on a number of the verification results identified in the second set that includes the performance metric. The method further includes determining whether a verification capability of the alternative model is better than a verification capability of the primary model based on the first score and the second score.

    Abstract: A width adjustable bracket for a metal roof includes a bolt, a top bracket and a bottom bracket. The top bracket has a flat surface with a slot for receiving the bolt. The flat surface is sized to receive an L bracket. A bottom bracket has a flat portion with a threaded hole for receiving the bolt. The width adjustable bracket is assembled by placing the bolt though the slot of the top bracket and the bolt being secured to the threaded hole of the bottom bracket. Once the bolt is placed through the top bracket, and placed in the threaded hole of the bottom bracket, the slot in the top bracket allows adjustment of a width of the width-adjustable bracket until the bolt is tightened into the threaded hole of the bottom bracket.

    Abstract: A roof attachment flashing system for preventing water penetration when utilizing an L-foot to attach a structure to a roof. The roof attachment flashing system generally includes a flashing member which is adapted to be utilized to seal penetrations of a roof which are necessitated by the installation of an L-foot for securing a roof attachment such as solar panels to the roof. The flashing member includes a receiver member at its first end which includes a raised portion defining a slot on its lower surface that will sealably cover the horizontal portion of the L-foot. A mounting bracket extends upwardly from the receiver member for securing the flashing member to the vertical portion of the L-foot. When installed, the flashing member will prevent water from leaking into the roof through any penetrations into the roof caused by installation of the L-foot.
