  • Publication number: 20240125633
Abstract: A device for determining a flow rate of a fluid flow, includes a fluid chamber configured to receive a portion of a fluid from the fluid flow, through an inlet fluid port. Further, the device includes a membrane configured to deform in response to the receipt of the portion of the fluid into the fluid chamber. The device further includes a sensor provided in a second chamber provided adjacent to the membrane on a side opposite to a side of the fluid chamber. The sensor is configured to detect deformation of the membrane and generate an input signal associated with the detected deformation of the membrane. Also, the device includes an electronic circuit board operatively coupled to the sensor. The electronic circuit board is configured to receive the input signal from the sensor and provide an output signal in correlation with the flow rate of the fluid flow.

  • Publication number: 20230353128
Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods including a first band-pass filter configured to receive and filter a detector signal where the first band-pass filter has a central frequency of 2f; a second band-pass filter configured to receive and filter the detector signal where the second band-pass filter has a central frequency of 1f; a first logarithmic amplifier (Log Amp) configured to apply the filtered detector signal from the first band-pass filter; a second Log Amp configured to apply the filtered detector signal from the second band-pass filter; a differential amplifier configured to subtract the applied signal from the first Log Amp from the applied signal from the second Log Amp; and an Anti-Log Amplifier configured to determine an inverse logarithm of the subtracted signal from the differential amplifier.

  • Publication number: 20210329989
Abstract: This invention introduces a compact, power efficient sterilizer face mask combining multiple technologies to effectively stop the spread of airborne microbial diseases, bacteria, and viruses. The geometrical design of the system allows for a longer air-flow pathway inside the optical box to increase the exposure time. An electrostatic or ionizing structure, traps the bacteria and viruses and slows down their movement inside the mask, significantly increasing the light exposure time. In addition, the air can flow through thermal (heating or cooling) engines and sonic or ultrasonic exposure engines for increasing the whole system's effectiveness. The UV exposure unit, the electrostatic unit, the thermal unit, and the sonic/ultrasonic unit can be smartly activated or deactivated using an air flowmeter that significantly reduces the power consumption of the system and its generated heat.

  • Patent number: 10607772
Abstract: A conductivity sensor, preferably a structure with a pair of magnetic cores with a primary coil wire around a shared member of both cores, and a secondary coil wire around a non-shared section of each core. When part of one core is immersed in a fluid and current is applied to the primary coil, measurements taken at the secondary coils reveal the conductivity of the fluid. The same structure can be used to measure the level of the fluid, and to determine impedance.

  • Patent number: 10209110
Abstract: This application discloses a new ultrasonic measurement technique to measure the velocity and displacement of the objects. Minimizing the effect of amplitude modulation from ultrasonic phase and amplitude extraction system, is a novel approach to significantly improve the accuracy and precision of the measurements. The possibility of the measurements using a single ultrasonic transducer functioning as a transmitter and receiver in continuous measurement, may be a significant advantage of this measurement technique over conventional methods. The ability of doing measurement on the objects much smaller than the wave wavelength may be an advantage of this innovative measurement technique comparing with contemporary ultrasonic measurement systems that are limited by the wavelength of the sound. Applications for this novel measurement system are also disclosed in this application.
