    Abstract: A nozzle assembly that includes an outlet conduit that exhaust to the environment, a rear sub-chamber, a liquid inlet that opens into the rear sub-chamber, a front sub-chamber in fluid communication with both the outlet conduit and the rear sub-chamber and a dividing member disposed between the front and rear sub-chambers. The dividing member includes fluid passages that provide fluid communication between the front and rear sub-chambers. The nozzle also includes an air inlet conduit configured to deliver a pressurized supersonic air stream into the front sub-chamber. The parts of the nozzle assembly are configured to give rise to first, second and third atomization stages that respectively occur in the rear sub-chamber, the front sub-chamber and at the outlet conduit.

In particular the cannabinoids cannabidiolic acid (CBDA) and cannabidivarin (CBDV) were able to produce neuroprotective effects in a mouse model of neurodegenerative disease. In particular these effects were associated with the symptoms associated with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Furthermore, the combination of the cannabinoid tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) with the drug olexisome provided a synergistic disease modifying effect in a mouse model of neurodegenerative disease. In particular these effects were associated with the symptoms associated with ALS.
