  • Patent number: 5465812
Abstract: Pallet guards to interfit with opposite ends of a pallet, each guard comprising a restraining panel and a plurality of short depending feet to interengage the pallet and restrain the guard in upright position on the respective end of the pallet against movement outwardly of the pallet. Preferably, the guards can be rotated between the upright restraining position and horizontal compact position on top of an empty pallet for storage.

  • Patent number: 5279405
Abstract: The invention provides a guard for warehouse personnel which guard is designed to be secured to a pallet and remain with the pallet both when the pallet is being transported and when it and its load are stored on racks in a warehouse. Thus, the guard remains with the pallet at all times to prevent the load on the pallet falling on personnel in an adjacent aisle. The guard can be separated from the pallet only as the result of intentional release by warehouse personnel.

  • Patent number: 5246397
Abstract: A narrow chimney-like airflow space between vertical columns of stacked, palletized loads is created by a narrow rectangular shaft of open mesh wire creating a narrow vertical passage extending the full height of the columns of palletized loads up which smoke can travel by convection to reach a smoke detector and trigger an alarm. The shaft is formed by a pair of L-shaped elements connected by detachable means whereby the elements can be separated and nested for compact storage.

  • Patent number: 5220980
Abstract: An L-shaped screen is provided designed to remain with a pallet during both placement in and removal from storage and also while the pallet and its load are in storage, one leg of which is secured to a pallet for transport with the pallet and the other leg extends vertically from the one leg to serve as a barrier to intercept and hold the load on the pallet should it become unstable and prevent any of it from falling on the lift truck operator or on personnel in the adjacent aisle after the lift truck has withdrawn.

  • Patent number: 4880118
Abstract: An improvement to portable industrial type foldable parts containers having welded mesh sides and upwardly recessed feet, one adjacent to but spaced from each of the corners of the container, including an upstanding stop welded to the top of each of a pair of parallel sides at a spacing such that the feet of a like container stacked on the container will fit between the stops to prevent sliding movement of the feet of the upper container off the sides of the container below. Another set of stops are secured one to each of the feet of the container above, which stops extend to overlap the stops on the container below to prevent displacement of the upper container toward and away from the sides mounting the first stops to permit transport of the containers in vertically stacked columns.
