  • Patent number: 11354972
Abstract: Gaming table systems include electronic gaming tables, gaming terminals, and a system server. A system or table can be configured to administer a live wager-based table game involving an initial shared hand that is shared by multiple live players. Each player can make different live game decisions regarding discarding physical playing items from the initial shared hand, and game outcomes include final hands that vary by player depending upon the different decisions. The live table game can be draw poker, which can involve dealing five physical cards face up for the initial shared hand and five additional cards face down for a first set of replacement cards before any live game player decisions. A second set of replacement cards can provide a second play from the same initial shared hand. Methods of providing the draw poker game can include preventing further user inputs prior to revealing the face down cards.

  • Patent number: 11113932
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein concern methods and systems for providing wager-based gaming using an electronic gaming machine that mimics a table game. For example, a table game often makes use of physical objects in carrying out a wager-based game. The same physical objects can be represented in the electronic gaming machine. The physical objects have different potential outcomes when used in the wager-based game. The particular potential outcome yielded by the physical objects can be randomized by a randomizing action. In one embodiment, the physical objects can be implemented by one or more reels contained within the electronic gaming machine, and the reels can include reel-stops that represent the different possibilities that the physical objects can yield during a wager-based game.

  • Patent number: 11113923
Abstract: Gaming table systems can include multiple electronic gaming tables, multiple gaming terminals, and a system server. Each gaming terminal can have a terminal controller adapted to facilitate the overlapping or simultaneous play by a single player of multiple wager-based table games at multiple electronic gaming tables. A server in communication with the gaming tables controls starting times of the wager-based table games by sending signals to the tables indicating when each game is allowed to start. Signals can be sent due to triggering events and/or can cause staggered starting times across games, which can allow faster players to play more games. The server can also control which gaming tables starts a next game, distribute table usage, and confirm that wagers are placed within a proper time frame for their respective games. A compliance server can verify eligibility of remote gaming terminals to participate in wager-based game play in the system.

  • Patent number: 10629025
Abstract: An electronic gaming table for hosting live table games involving wagers can include a physical surface, a dealer station, a plurality of player terminals, and a table controller. The physical surface permits the play of live table games with a live dealer and physical game components. The dealer station is situated proximate the physical surface and allows the presence of a live dealer who facilitates game play. Player terminals allow live players to play the games and include player terminal processors coupled to player interfaces having input and output devices. A table controller coupled to the player terminals controls various table functions and administers a live table game pitting a first hand against a second hand. Each of multiple live players can make different live game decisions independently based upon the same second hand, wherein resolution of the game varies by player depending upon the different live game decisions.
