    Abstract: A housing for containing a plurality of circuit boards in a compact arrangement includes upper and lower housing portions which can be secured to each other by easily releasable securing devices. A first circuit board disposed on a base surface of the lower housing portion, and a vertically disposed bus circuit board mounted in a frame on the upper housing portion and having connectors electrically engageable with receptacles on the first circuit board. A plurality of horizontally disposed additional circuit boards having connectors electrically engageable with horizontally disposed receptacles secured to both sides of the bus circuit board, at least certain of the additional circuit boards having a width extending outwardly from the connectors which is greater than the vertical distance between the first circuit board and a portion of the upper housing portion.

    Abstract: A quick release tilt and swivel apparatus supports a structure such as an alphanumeric plasma display associated with a electronic cash register. The apparatus includes a pair of spaced-apart lug members mounted on a pair of fingers extending outwardly from a base member which are inserted within a socket portion of the display for enabling the display to be tilted and swiveled about the cash register. The display includes a flexible wall portion for enabling the display to be quickly mounted and released from the base member. The display and the lug members are molded of a plastic material and are dimensioned to allow the lug member to deform the socket portion of the display for holding the display in any number of settable positions.

    Abstract: An electrical connector panel includes a two-piece knock-out plug having a raised portion formed in a configuration of a first electrical connector member and a portion flush with the surface of the panel member which when removed in conjunction with the removal of the raised portion provides an aperture which can accommodate a second electrical connector member having a size different from the first electrical connector member.
