  • Publication number: 20240131340
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating and/or applying an adjustment for one or more parameters of a neuromodulation therapy of a user are provided. One or more physiological-based inputs of the user may be received and a therapy response score may be determined based on the one or more physiological-based inputs. • Publication number: 20240131338
Abstract: A system is provided for informing a therapeutic procedure. In some embodiments, the system may be configured to determine specific states associated with a sleep-wake cycle of a patient. Additionally, the system may be configured to measure one or more signals with cardiac activity of the patient upon detecting the specific states of the sleep-wake cycle of the patient. Subsequently, the system may be configured to determine one or more parameters for applying an electrical signal to an anatomical element of the patient based on the one or more signals with cardiac activity. In some embodiments, the system may be configured to establish a longitudinal trend of cardiac metrics for the patient based on a plurality of signals with cardiac activity for the patient measured during the specific states of the sleep-wake cycle across a plurality of days.

  • Publication number: 20240131345
Abstract: A system is provided for identifying and reducing noise in a therapeutic procedure. For example, the system may be configured to measure one or more signals with cardiac activity. The system may be configured to then identify one or more sources of noise that are distorting the one or more signals with cardiac activity and may reduce the one or more sources of noise from the one or more signals with cardiac activity. Subsequently, the system may be configured to determine one or more aggregate cardiac-derived metrics and/or save processed cardiac data based on the one or more signals with cardiac activity with the one or more sources of noise reduced. Additionally, the system may be configured to determine one or more parameters for applying an electrical signal to an anatomical element of a patient based on the one or more aggregate cardiac-derived metrics and/or saved processed cardiac data.

  • Publication number: 20190126116
Abstract: A baseball is provided with indicia to aid a batter in visualizing direction and loft of a batted ball. By providing a series of projected lofts, a batter can train to hit a ball of varying lofts, ranging from ground balls, to line drives, to pop-ups and any range in between. In addition to projected lofts, one or more projected directional indicators can also be marked on the training ball.

  • Publication number: 20180345108
Abstract: A baseball and a method of instructing throwing a baseball is disclosed. The baseball has a seam, a first, preferably green, color zone placed on a first side of the ball, a second, preferably yellow color zone placed around a first circumference of the ball, and a third, preferably red, color zone placed on a second side of the ball. A pair of finger placement markings are carried on the first color zone. The baseball player is instructed to engage in a proper throwing motion, and the ball confirms by maintaining visual line of sight with the first color zone throughout, providing feedback of a correct throwing motion in which the ball is drawn. away from the target with the arm and hand placed in a correct position.

  • Patent number: 9440131
Abstract: A device for training a baseball/softball player to swing a bat with a positioning apparatus affixed to the bat and a guide component tethered to an adjustable cuff on the upper arm of the trailing arm. Interconnection of guide component and positioning apparatus prevents the hands and bat from casting away from torso through midpoint in the swing and Prevents barrel of the bat from preceding knob end of the bat prior to the point of contact with ball. Positioning apparatus disengages from guide component prior to point of contact with ball allowing player to complete the swing.

  • Patent number: 8768242
Abstract: A communications system includes a satellite hub, a remote satellite terminal, and a satellite configured to provide communications therebetween. The remote terminal includes a controller that functions as an enforcement mechanism when adjusting antenna polarization on the remote satellite terminal to facilitate communications with the satellite. The satellite transmits an acquisition signal at a first satellite polarization angle, and a jamming signal at a second satellite polarization angle different from the first satellite polarization angle. If the polarization is not set correctly, then the jamming signal is not filtered by a narrow width null of the receive gain pattern at the remote satellite terminal, and the controller inhibits transmission. This forces an installer to correctly set the polarization of the antenna at the remote satellite terminal.
