  • Patent number: 5545034
Abstract: An electrical harness for wiring the electrical ignition circuit of a cooking appliance equipped with a plurality of gas burners each provided with a remote-controlled electrical ignition element, comprising: a low-voltage electrical power supply line (1), one of the ends of which is provided with respective terminals (2) for its electrical connection to a low-voltage electrical power supply; a plurality of high-voltage generating units (3), the number thereof being equal to the number of gas burners (10), and being electrically connected to the said power supply line, each unit (3) comprising a switch (4) to control the power supply and being provided with means (5) for fast mechanical connection for connecting the same to the respective gas tap body; mechanical connecting means (6) for mechanically connecting each of the high-voltage generating units (3) to the electrical power supply line (1); and respective high-voltage output lines (7) from the high-voltage generating units (3), the free ends of said lin

  • Patent number: 5133658
Abstract: Gas burner, particularly for household appliances, comprising a burner body (1) having a peripheral side wall (5) defining an enclosure with an outward opening and at least one air-gas mixture supply orifice (13), which enclosure is adapted to contain a "soft" flame able to withstand sudden pressure variations of the primary air brought to the burner and to re-activate the flames of the burner should they be blown out, characterized in that it further comprises at least one chamber (15) situated behind the supply orifice (13) of said enclosure (11) and itself having a gas mixture supply orifice (16) with a cross section substantially equal to or greater than that of the supply orifice (13) of the enclosure, this chamber being configured so that the air-gas mixture which is contained therein forms a buffer cancelling out or attenuating the sudden pressure variations of the primary air admitted into the burner and so that the flame of the enclosure is maintained.

  • Patent number: 5118285
Abstract: A gas cooking apparatus is disclosed, particularly a cooking table, comprising at least one gas burner (1) including: a burner head (2) fixed sealingly on a top plate (3) of the apparatus, a gas injector (6) situated axially under the head of the burner and mounted on a support plate (10), and a diffuser tube (4) forming a venturi situated axially between the injector and the burner head and opening into the latter, characterized in that the plate (10) supporting the injector (6) and the venturi-forming tube (4) belong to the same unitary part (15) formed of a single metal sheet shaped by cutting out, bending and rolling.

  • Patent number: 4891006
Abstract: In a pilot flame gas burner, particularly for a domestic appliance, comprising principal orifices for main flames distributed peripherally and peripheral gas conduit means beneath the principal orifices to generate at least one pilot flame extending peripherally to heat the foot of the main flames, the invention provides the following improvement. Said peripheral gas conduit means are arranged to generate a pilot flame collar extending continuously over the periphery of the burner without projecting appreciably from the peripheral surface of the burner and so that in zones disposed beneath the principal orifices, and each associated with at least one principal orifice, the pilot flame is more active and is adapted to heat the corresponding feet of the main flames.

  • Patent number: 4773383
Abstract: Gas burner arranged to operate with several types of gas, comprising a burner body equipped with an air inflow regulator ring which is a cylinder of revolution with an air inlet in its cylindrical side wall. The two end surfaces are provided respectively with two coaxial apertures for the outflow of the gas mixture of different diameters. This ring and its mounting emplacement in the body are such that it can be positioned in one or the other of two possible positions, with the aperture of largest diameter or of smallest diameter facing the gas nozzle accordingly as the gas is respectively a liquified petroleum or a manufactured or natural gas.

  • Patent number: 4757801
Abstract: Flat type gas burner with a body having a central vertical passage and a cap which define between them an annular convergent-divergent duct supplying flame orifices in the annular foot of the cap. The burner comprises an enclosure into which opens a flame orifice conferring on the mixture a flow speed identical with that of the other orifices. The volume of the enclosure permits an expansion of the mixture substantially to static pressure. The outlet aperture of the enclosure confers on the mixture a speed of flow 7 to 12 times less than that of the other orifices.
