Abstract: A container comprises a wall comprising at least one layer, the wall comprising a polypropylene having a high flexural modulus and a polyethylene chosen from low-density and very low-density polyethylenes. The container can further comprise a product in the container. The product is chosen from cosmetic products, food products, household products, and industrial chemistry products. A method of making the container includes extruding a parison having at least one layer, the parison including a polypropylene having a high flexural modulus and a polyethylene chosen from low-density and very low-density polyethylenes, and blowing the parison in a mold having at least one cavity with a geometry corresponding to that of the container to obtain the container.
