    Abstract: The present invention provides a connector for a cable having a plurality of insulated twisted conductors, in particular a twinaxial cable or a dual twinaxial cable, the connector comprising: at least two contact elements, each suitable for being secured to one end of a conductor of the cable; a spacer made of insulating material, having at least two open housings extending parallel to a longitudinal axis of the spacer, each of the housings being arranged to receive one end of a conductor of the cable with a contact element secured thereto; wherein, on said spacer, it includes projecting or recessed means for encouraging retention of the end of a conductor of the cable with a contact element secured thereto while they are being inserted into a housing of the spacer.
