  • Publication number: 20090159719
Abstract: A control method for one or several devices for nebulizing liquids into the air (DF1), the method including control steps for the device to nebulize a liquid into the air according to nebulizing cycles during which a liquid is nebulized into the air, the nebulizing cycles being spaced by idle periods, and comprising adjustment of the duration of idle periods as a function of the average quantity of liquid to be nebulized per unit time selected, and as a function of a concentration parameter for the active product in the liquid to be nebulized. The method enables a same apparatus to treat volumes with a factor of 100 times, typically from 7 to 700 m3.

  • Publication number: 20080229482
Abstract: An elastic sock (1) is provided for maintaining at least one protection module for protecting one zone of a foot. The sock includes a tubular part (2) shaped to cover the ankle, a front part (3) shaped to cover the foot and heel, and an opening (4) in a region of the sock corresponding to the curve of the foot. The sock can be pulled on by first pulling on the tubular part (2) around the ankle and by putting the foot into the opening (4), then by pulling on the front part (3) around the foot after having arranged at least one protection module (10) on the foot.

  • Publication number: 20080057108
Abstract: A method is provided for preparing a functional food comprising the steps of: producing an aqueous solution of a malvaceous plant extract, adding fructan to the solution, and adjusting the solution to a determined temperature to obtain a solution containing fructose and/or oligofructose hydrolyzed from the fructan in the presence of the malvaceous plant extract. A functional food can be obtained from the method, which can be used to treat pathologies relating to calcium deficiency.

  • Publication number: 20080044460
Abstract: A dermal patch includes a reservoir layer made of a polymer gel provided for receiving a liquid containing an active substance and having a first face to be applied onto the skin of a user in order to diffuse the active substance to the skin. The patch further includes a receiving layer for receiving the liquid containing the active substance and transmitting the liquid to the reservoir layer, and a layer of adhesive holding the receiving layer on a second face of the reservoir layer. The patch has the advantage of being rechargeable as required and can be manufactured without prior incorporation of the liquid containing the active substance into the reservoir layer.

  • Patent number: 6790011
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for diffusing drops of at least one liquid, the device being of the type comprising at least one liquid displacement path defined by a series of pairs of close-together surfaces (4a, 6a, . . . , 14a) enabling liquid to be retained and to be displaced from one pair of surfaces to another. The device comprises: both a series of pairs of close-together surfaces (4a, 6a, . . . , 14a) defining at least one displacement path, and co-operating to store the liquid, to form drops of liquid, and to move liquid drops to an outlet from said path leading towards a drop destination site; and electric field application means applying a determined sequence of electric fields between the pairs of close-together surfaces so as to form drops of liquid from the liquid storage, and to move and mix the drops of liquid to the drop outlet of said path.
