  • Patent number: 8562063
Abstract: A device is provided for closing off an opening formed in the bodywork of a motor vehicle, which includes a fixed structure in which an aperture is defined, and at least one sliding panel exhibiting a surround bearing at least two guide pegs. The device has at least one slide having a groove to accept each of the two guide pegs, the grooves being substantially identical and having an inclined portion forming an angle of between 1 and 89 DEG with the said axis of sliding; a guide element secured to the sliding panel, guided in one of the guide rails; and a return, which controls a relative movement of the slide or slides with respect to the guide element along the said axis of sliding. The sliding panel moves in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the fixed structure.

  • Patent number: 8485595
Abstract: A device is provided for blocking an opening formed in an automobile roof, including a fixed glass portion to be rigidly connected to the vehicle and at least one glass panel. The glass panel is mobile relative to the fixed portion between a blocking position, in which it blocks an opening in the fixed portion, and at least one open position, in which the opening is at least partially open. Each of the mobile panels is slidingly guided along two rails rigidly connected to the surface of the fixed portion. The device also includes at least one passage for collecting and draining at least a portion of the water received on the outer surface of the mobile panel toward the outside of the vehicle. The passage is rigidly connected to the mobile panel to enable the water to flow from the mobile panel toward one of the rails.

  • Patent number: 6817500
Abstract: The invention relates to a roof-rack bar for automobile vehicles comprising a transverse bar and two fastening feet mounted at the ends of the transverse bar. The feet operate in conjunction with side rails mounted on an automobile vehicle, wherein the feet can slide along the side rails during adjustment. The angle between the transverse bar and each of the side rails remains substantially constant when the bar is displaced. At least one of the feet includes a housing in which one end of the transverse bar can slide between two extreme positions in order to adapt to a variable distance between non-parallel side rails. This housing includes a first locking and reinforcement means capable of operating in conjunction with a second locking and reinforcement means fitted on the transverse bar to immobilize or authorize the displacement of the end of the transverse bar in the housing.
