Abstract: The invention is a packaging case made of cardboard for transporting a load, a method and a device for packaging such a case. The case includes a lateral band (2, 3, 4, 5) and a horizontal base (6) integral with the band via joining lines, and a heat shrinkable plastic film material (7, 8, 9) for packaging and holding the load securely. The case also includes at least one rigid mounted plate (11), pressing the heat shrinkable film on the internal face of the base of the case leaving free strips of material arranged for blocking the load by shrinking on the film, the plate being inserted between at least two first vertically opposite walls of the case such that the edges of the plate are in contact via the plastic film with at least part of the joining lines of the first walls. The case further includes structure for blocking the plate against the base.

Abstract: Packaging of card or corrugated cardboard in the form of a basket and for the purpose of packaging loads such as rows of bottles. According to the invention the cover of said package is formed by two upsidedown trapezium-section gutters that are engaged one in the other, enabling said cover to be formed accurately regardless of the kind and/or shape of the load. A machine is also provided for enabling such packages to be closed on a continuous basis as they pass through the machine towards an outlet therefrom.

Abstract: Packaging made of card or similar material for packing a plurality of objects, the packaging comprising a body having a ring of sides and a bottom, thereby defining a volume for receiving said objects, and at least one sheet of shrinkable synthetic material fixed to said body for covering said plurality of objects and for holding the objects in place in said volume by said sheet being shrunk, said bottom being constituted by a plurality of flaps each of which is connected via a corresponding fold line to the bottom longitudinal edge of said ring of sides, said sheet being fixed to at least one of said bottom flaps which is covered, at least in part, by at least one other one of said bottom flaps is such a manner as to clamp said sheet between said flaps.

Abstract: This invention relates to a one-piece blank made of a material in sheet form for producing a partitioning intended to subdivide a recipient into a plurality of compartments, wherein the blank comprises:two assemblies of articulated flaps which, by folding, are each capable of forming part of the compartments of the partitioning; andan intermediate panel connected to the two assemblies of flaps respectively along a line capable of being broken and along a line capable of serving as line of fold.

Abstract: A method and machine for forming a case with polygonal section from a blank of sheet material. There is an assembly of panels. The assembly of panels is wound about a mandrel with polygonal section. The tongue is fixed to the free edge of the endmost panel. The flaps situated on the same side of the panels are folded. The flaps thus folded are fixed together.
