    Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for relative positioning of two objects, which comprises a means with a ball provided a spherical bearing surface between two objects and a means with a cylindrical bar providing a cylindrical bearing surface between the two objects and a means with a truncated ball providing a planar bearing surface between the two objects. This device applies for example to the accurate positioning of measuring assemblies which must be frequently removed and repositioned in automatic checking machines.
