    Abstract: The present invention relates to a cartridge for receiving a sample, comprising a housing, a lid capable of hermetically closing the housing and a tampered-proof system, coupled to the cartridge, to indicate to a user whether the lid has been removed from the housing, thereby allowing the user to determine if the sample has been potentially contaminated.
