    Abstract: A system for configuring with an overlay configuration, a datacenter network of networking devices comprising at least an underlay fabric, an edge, and a ToR switch interconnecting one or several hosts on a rack, communicably connected to each other with an underlay configuration. The system comprises an API providing a user with a set of primitives providing instantiation capability of respective generic networking resources, the primitives being configured to be invoked and assembled by the user so as to provide an abstracted view of the overlay configuration. The system further comprises a Workflow engine to compute the overlay configuration according to the abstracted view, and an Overlay configuration builder to push the overlay configuration to the ToR switch and the edge. The pushed overlay configuration configures a NVE in the datacenter network as one of the ToR switch, depending on the business use case of the datacenter associated with the identity of the user.

Each of the one or more points of interconnection in the network configuration is modeled through objects comprising, for each given point of interconnection, a node object representing the point of interconnection, an interface object hierarchically inferior to the node object and representing a connection to the point of interconnection, an evpnEdge object representing the transport to/from of the point of interconnection in the network, and a layer object hierarchically inferior to the evpnEdge object, and representing the characteristics of the protocol of transport to/from the point of interconnection. The network configuration is set up by a succession of commands on the objects and then pushed to the datacenter.

    Abstract: A wire-spiralling machine continuously produces a tubular structure comprising a spiral winding, particularly a pressure-armor layer, from two noninterlocking wires of large cross section delivered from two reels of wire and two locking wires delivered from two reels of locking wire. A motorized rotating circular cage carries the four reels of wire and locking wire at its rear, while the downstream face of the cage supports, on two adjustable-inclination plates, two on-board twin-track caterpillars for dragging the wire. These caterpillars are arranged just upstream of guide and/or bend rolls leading the wires towards their respective lay point.

    Abstract: The process and the device according to the invention relate to the introduction, at a stable, known flow rate, of sublimable tetrachloride into a column for continuous extractive distillation under pressure of the chlorides. The sublimable tetrachloride is dissolved in a hot dissolver in a liquid solvent such as KAlCl.sub.4, and is then recirculated by pump at a stable, known flow rate into an evaporator connected to the column. The solution is then heated in an evaporator in order to sublime the majority of the product which it contains, the sublimed vapors thus passing into the column at a stable, known flow rate. The process according to the invention is adapted, in particular, to a plant for the production of ArCl.sub.4 of nulear purity and of HfCl.sub.4.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the separation of zirconium, and hafnium tetrachlorides from mixtures thereof. The process according to the invention consists of selectively absorbing zirconium tetrachloride and hafnium tetrachloride vapors in a solvent medium circulating counter-current to these vapors in a distillation column, wherein the solvent consists of a molten chloroaluminate and/or chloroferrate of potassium. The process described may be used to obtain hafnium-free zirconium tetrachloride which may then be used to prepare nuclear-grade zirconium, and hafnium tetrachloride containing little zirconium.

    Abstract: Perchloromethyl mercaptan is prepared with about 10% saving in raw materials by an improved process comprising (i) chlorinating carbon disulfide in the presence of iodine to produce a first chlorinated liquor, (ii) separating said liquor by distillation into a high-boiling fraction of technical-grade perchloromethyl mercaptan and a low-boiling fraction, A, (iii) chlorinating fraction A in the presence of iodine and absence of any substantial amount of metallic halides to produce a second chlorinated liquor, (iv) separating said second liquor by distillation into a high boiling fraction of crude perchloromethyl mercaptan and a second low-boiling fraction, B, consisting essentially of sulfur dichloride, and (v) heating fraction B at about 90.degree.-150.degree.C in presence of a metallic halide to form sulfur monochloride and regenerate chlorine.
