  • Patent number: 10079898
Abstract: This disclosure provides for a system and method for managing network-connected industrial assets. The network-connected assets include a sensor controller affixed to a shipping container, where the sensor controller is communicatively coupled to one or more sensors. The one or more sensors monitor the shipping container and/or the contents stored therein. When located at an origin location, the sensor controller is communicatively coupled to a first Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) machine via a first network. A client device can communicate with the sensor controller via the first IIoT machine. When the shipping container is shipped to a destination location, the sensor controller connects to a second network at the destination location. At the second network, another IIoT machine communicates with the sensor controller. The client device then receives sensor data from the sensor controller via the second IIoT machine.

  • Publication number: 20160286013
Abstract: A system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, and a method for managing stream metadata during high volume real-time data streams, are presented. In example embodiments, the method may include transmitting an initial data packet comprising metadata to subscribers at the beginning of a communication session. The method further includes periodically transmitting subsequent data packets comprising periodic data published by a publisher to the subscribers. Upon detection of a change in the metadata, an additional data packet comprising new metadata is transmitted to the subscribers.

  • Patent number: 8909662
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for synchronizing data within a native PIM data store in a device an enterprise data. Data modifications generated by mobile applications on the device, or by an enterprise server, are identified and reflected into the native PIM data store. Additionally, a listener is provided to detect modifications to relevant data within the native PIM data store and reflect these modifications in the mobile applications and the enterprise server. The framework which accomplishes this further provides platform-independent access to the native PIM data store.
