  • Publication number: 20090130272
Abstract: A process for the manufacture of a product, in particular a food product, comprising a step of adding an agent with sweetening power, characterized in that the agent with sweetening power is made entirely or partly by the incorporation, into the product, of a gas or a gaseous mixture containing nitrous oxide N2O.
    Type: Application
    Filed: February 9, 2006
    Publication date: May 21, 2009
    Inventors: Jacques Cutayar, Jean-Louis Pean
  • Publication number: 20070224322
Abstract: A method of preparing a product, in particular an agrofoods or pharmaceutical product, which comprises a step consisting of the addition of an agent with a sweetening power, characterized in that the agent with sweetening power consists, entirely or partly, of the incorporation into the product of a gas or mixture of gases comprising nitrous oxide N2O, and in that one or more adjuvants are added to the composition of the product, which adjuvants make it possible to slow the kinetics of desorption of the gas or mixture of gases comprising nitrous oxide N2O from said matrix once said gas or mixture of gases has been incorporated.
    Type: Application
    Filed: February 2, 2007
    Publication date: September 27, 2007

  • Patent number: 6231769
Abstract: An installation for producing ozonized water, comprising a circuit for producing ozonized water comprising a circuit for producing ozonized water comprising a water inlet, an ozone-injection inlet for injecting ozone taken from an ozone source, a contactor for bringing the ozone into contact with the water, a section for utilizing the ozonized water arranged downstream of the contactor, and an undissolved ozone collector, downstream of the contactor, comprising an outlet connected to the circuit for producing ozonized water upstream of the contactor.

    Inventors: Jean-Louis Pean, Boris Gammal
  • Patent number: 4985265
Abstract: A process for extracting spices in liquid carbon dioxide in the presence of an alimentarily acceptable cosolvent which does not degrade the flavors of the spices. The process is particularly applicable to the extraction of piperine and aromatic compounds of pepper.

  • Patent number: 4870801
Abstract: The process, applied to inerting of airtight packagings, used together or separately the deoxygenation of empty packagings under inert atmosphere, purging of the gas ceiling of the packagings after filling and before closing with an inert fluid, under inert atmospheres, each operation being performed by two simultaneous injections of fluid; said liquid or pasty product optionally being deoxygenated by an inert gas. This technique is applicable to the preservation of any liquid, pasty, solid and powdery food product, to pharmaceutical and biological products.

  • Patent number: 4715985
Abstract: Compositions for checking the functioning of fire detectors comprising at least 75% of at least one haloalkane, up to 15% of at least one volatile organic compound selected from the group consisting of alcohols, oxoderivatives, and ethers, a small amount of an organic compound having a vapor pressure less than 0.1 millibar, and an optional propellant. The composition can be used to check the functioning of ionization detectors, combustible gas detectors, and optical smoke detectors.

  • Patent number: 4626376
Abstract: The solution-saturation (13,26) is produced in a countercurrent manner under low pressure of the gas (19) in a chlorofluorohydrocarbon (1) which is sprayed (12A,12B), previously compressed (3), and supercooled (5) to a temperature in the neighborhood of or lower than the temperature chosen for the chlorofluorohydrocarbon dissolved gas mixture at the outlet (30), the first gas-liquid chlorofluorohydrocarbon contact being effected by a bubbling (25) under pressure of the gas in the chlorofluorohydrocarbon (26) under conditions of temperature and pressure lower than the critical conditions, with a strict thermal regulation (31) throughout the dissolving stage so as to effect it below the critical conditions, thereafter the chlorofluorohydrocarbon mixture having a high content of dissolved gas is compressed (28A,28B) under high pressure. Application in the chlorofluorohydrocarbon solutions and in particular dichlorodifluoromethane having a high content of carbon dioxide.

  • Patent number: 4017196
Abstract: A union for connecting cylindrical members has mating concentric truncated conical surfaces on annular flanges. Tubular spring pins driven into aligned assembly holes passing through the two flanges secure the union together. An alternate embodiment includes an intermediate body which may be flexible. TOGETHERThe present invention relates to coupling means designed to connect members together The term "member" here being considered in its broadest sense. To ensure the coupling between two members, connecting means are used which bring into action assembling members of the screw or bolt type intended to connect the members together directly or to connect said members and an intermediate element which may or may not be subjected to one or more elastic deformations.
