  • Patent number: 9108881
Abstract: A glass substrate including a first face and a second face opposing the first face, the substrate including, above the second face, an electrode layer which includes at least one electrically conducting layer, wherein the substrate includes, between the second face and the electrode layer, at least one layer of vitreous material having an index in the range from 1.7 to 2.4 and including from 40% to 60% by weight of bismuth oxide Bi2O3 and from 5% to 30% by weight of ZnO.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 12, 2011
Date of Patent: August 18, 2015
    Assignee: SAINT-GOBAIN GLASS FRANCE
Inventors: François-Julien Vermersch, Sylvie Abensour, Jean-Luc Allano, Marie-Virginie Ehrensperger
  • Patent number: 8890133
Abstract: A support for an organic light-emitting diode device successively includes a transparent substrate, made of mineral glass, provided with first and second opposite main faces, the substrate being coated on its second face with a diffusing layer which includes a vitreous mineral binder and diffusing elements dispersed in the binder, the vitreous binder includes between 40% and 60% by weight of bismuth oxide Bi2O3 inclusive of these values, or even between 45% and 58% by weight of bismuth oxide Bi2O3 inclusive of these values, and the proportion of the vitreous binder is at least 20% of the total weight of the diffusing layer.

  • Patent number: 7105222
Abstract: The invention relates the field of light boxes, and more specifically to a diffusing layer intended to be deposited on a substrate for making a light source homogeneous. The diffusing layer according to the invention consists of agglomerated semitransparent mineral particles in a mineral binder and is characterized by the particles having a mean diameter of between 0.3 and 2 microns, the binder being in a proportion of between 10 and 40% by volume, the particles forming aggregates whose size is between 0.5 and 20 microns, preferably less than 5 microns, and the layer having a contrast attenuation of greater than 40%. The invention also relates to uses for the production of flat lamps.
