Patent number: 11886448Abstract: A flexible listings search system can receive and return results for flexible listing searches. For example, the system can perform micro-flexible searches (e.g., plus or minus a few days) or super flexible searches (e.g., a time span in one or more months), using listing arrays that can be rapidly accessed to efficiently identify and return results. The search system can further perform flexible destination searches for different categories of accommodations for display in a viewport (e.g., map bounding box). The system can further perform fuzzy searches to identify and return broader results for flexible queries.Type: GrantFiled: April 25, 2022Date of Patent: January 30, 2024Assignee: Airbnb, Inc.Inventors: Tyler Sax, Soumyadip Banerjee, Kedar Bellare, Karen Ouyang, Min Liu, Thomas Jean Marc Legrand

Patent number: 9072196Abstract: A cooling management system including component racks, a cooling system, pressure measurement devices, and a computing system within a structure. Each component rack includes an exothermic apparatus. The structure includes warm air aisle spaces and cold air aisle spaces located between the component racks. The cooling system feeds cold air into each cold air aisle space. The cold air flows through the component racks resulting in displacement of warm air from each exothermic apparatus. The warm air flows into the warm air aisle spaces and is directed back to the cooling system. The pressure measurement devices measure differential pressure values between the cold air aisle spaces and the warm air aisle spaces. The computing system monitors the differential pressure values, perform calculations associated with the differential pressure values, and control a fan speed of at least one fan within the cooling system based on the calculations.Type: GrantFiled: May 15, 2014Date of Patent: June 30, 2015Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Frederic Bauchot, Jean-Yves Clement, Jean-Marc Legrand

Patent number: 6404650Abstract: A system is provided for positioning a plurality of cards in an electronic module intended to be plugged into a backplane. The system includes a spacing element comprising a succession of spacers of increasing section (diameter). Spacers are arranged end to end and are preferably cylindrical. The difference of section between successive spacers forms a kind of stair step or shoulder. These successive steps position the electronic cards parallel to one another, with a predetermined spacing which corresponds to the spacing of the backplane connectors. Fastening means, such as a nut, are associated with the steps for maintaining the cards. The cards are bored so that the spacing element can be inserted and the nuts applied. The size of the hole in each card is such that the surface around the hole can be pressed against the corresponding shoulder by means of the nut installed on the opposite side.Type: GrantFiled: December 8, 1999Date of Patent: June 11, 2002Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Henri Boniface, Bruno Centola, Jean-Marc Legrand
