  • Publication number: 20230251323
Abstract: A method for determination of a state of health indicator of an electrical accumulator includes converting a set of charge and discharge operations into an equivalent set of symmetrical reconstituted cycles and selecting the symmetrical reconstituted cycles. For each selected symmetrical reconstituted cycle the rate of energy supplied by the electrical accumulator during the discharge phase per unit of state of charge amplitude of the electrical accumulator and a total equivalent energy value for a complete charge of the electrical accumulator are determined. The method also includes determining a mean value from total equivalent energy values relating to a plurality of selected symmetrical reconstituted cycles and determining the state of health indicator of the electrical accumulator by dividing the mean value by the value of the nominal energy capacity of the electrical accumulator.

  • Publication number: 20170201121
Abstract: A method of charging a battery of electric accumulators from the electric energy supplied by an electric generator, wherein the battery is chary to a first maximum state-of-charge in a first operating mode and to a second maximum state-of-charge, lower than the first maximum state-of-charge, in a second operating mode. The method includes switching from the first mode to the second mode when a first condition relative to the day length, or to the variation of the day length, is fulfilled and comprises switching from the second mode to the first mode when second conditions are fulfilled, the second conditions including determining that the day length becomes shorter than a first duration threshold and determining that a criterion determined from the environmental conditions of the electric generator or of the battery is fulfilled.

  • Publication number: 20150082617
Abstract: The process for charging a lead battery comprises an initialisation phase (E1), during which a value representative of an amount of lead oxide of the negative active material of the battery is determined, and a charging phase (E2), the duration of which is determined as a function of the value representative of amount of lead oxide.

  • Patent number: 8988045
Abstract: The method for charging or discharging a battery comprises measurement of the voltage at the terminals of the battery and comparison of the measured voltage with an end of charging or discharging voltage threshold. The method also comprises measurement of a temperature representative of the temperature of the battery and measurement of the current flowing in the battery to form a pair of measurements. The voltage threshold is then determined according to the pair of measurements. Charging or discharging of the battery is stopped when the voltage threshold is reached.

  • Publication number: 20130169211
Abstract: Method for charging an electric battery with a given charge capacity, the electric battery feeding a charge and the electric battery being charged by an electrical energy source, wherein the method defining a first level of charge reference value lower than the charge capacity of the battery and a step of charging the electric battery until the first level of charge reference value is reached.

  • Publication number: 20130069660
Abstract: The invention is a method for estimating the internal state of a system for the electrochemical storage of electrical energy, such as a battery. For various internal states of batteries of the same type as a battery being analysed, impedance measurements are carried out by adding an electrical signal to the current passing through the batteries. Then, an RC circuit is used to model the impedances. Next, a relationship is calibrated between the SoC (and/or the SoH) and the parameters of the RC circuit using multivariate statistical analysis. A measurement of the impedance of the battery under analysis is carried out which is modeled using the RC circuit. Finally, the relationship of the equivalent electric circuit defined for the battery being analysed is used to estimate the internal state of that battery.

  • Patent number: 5441738
Abstract: There is disclosed a process for improving a glycerolyzed oil. The oil is heated until any crystals which have formed have disappeared. Then the oil is crystallized by slow stirring for eight to seventy-two hours until an end of crystallization temperature of typically between 0.degree. and 15.degree. is reached. Finally the crystals which have formed are separated at the end of crystallization temperature. The process can be iterated at two successively lower end of crystallization temperatures.
