    Abstract: An apparatus (10) comprises a heating room (11) for the articles of food, heater (14) and a ventilator (16) for creating a hot air current, and further comprises a device (17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28) which can subject the heating room to a rocking movement around a horizontal axis (13). The heating room (11) is nearly closed and the heater (14) and ventilator (16) are inside the heating room (11) and are fixedly connected to the heating room (11) so that the relative distance between the heater and the articles of food does not change during the rocking movement.
